I have seen many people suffering from old AT&T debt, handled over to Palisades for collection. I cannot remember, but I read somewhere that some people had issues with Cingular too. Would anyone help me to remember this? The reason I am asking this is I have found some info about AT&T recently, I have covered it in my blog, but cannot remember the stories that I read here. DO NOT get a master card with Imagine, issued by the first bank of deleware. You think the Orchard bank master card is fee happy, you aint seen nothin yet. There annual is $150+a $70 activation fee and various other hidden fees, not to mention their customer service sucks. They can barely speak english. I think the best way for people for ones looking to rebuild their credit, is a secured credit card.

I bought a car in 1995 or 1996 and did a voulntary repossion now after 10years they are garnihing my wages. I never received a phone call or anything to try to make arrangements with them. I have had the same address for the past 10 years so they could have reached me. Is this legal can they garnish you after ten years even though this car is not on my credit reports

I have a PDL that I defaulted on with TenDollar Payday, I have enrolled in a credit counseling service, and have turned it over to them. HOWEVER...I just got a call from Roy Lewis @ United Legal on behalf of Rio...he said they don't work with CC services and I must make a payment. I was wondering does anyone know if this guy is just bs'ing me for more money or do I really need to pay them directly instead of the Credit Counseling Service?
