Hi, I've received a call from Berg & Boesch. They claimed that their mechants had contacted them regarding return items from my checking accounting. They said that if I don't pay them $493.75 within 48 hours then they will my case is ready to go to court. The original loan that I took out was $200. I did tried to make payment arrangements with them but they wanted the whole amount. Can anyone tell me if I will go to jail for this?

I have a credit card debt of $18K that has been sold to Creditors Financial Group. They have offered me a settlement of 40% over three months. I am hesitate about entering into this agreement at this time because 1) $7200 by 10/31 will be a great strain (six months would work better) 2) I have settled many accounts during the last year (lost a job in 2002 - ran up big debt) and believe a 30-35% settlement is possible. My question is for those who have delt with this company - are they quick to file a lawsuit? My experience has been lawsuits are always threatened, but rarely filed.

I owe about 2000 dollars bettween a few diffrent accounts not including my car loan with that im at about 5000 dollars. I dont think we can get my car done but i am interested in getting everything paid off. I would love to get some help.

This morning I was so shocked to find out that one of my online pdl lender tried to debit my joint account w/ my husband. I have 2 accounts , the individual and joint. The individual account is the one hanged it to a different account and they been debiting payments on my indiv. I been with this online lender for 2 years and never used or authorized them to use my joint account again. Can I dispute the ACH and how can I block future ACH from my account. Will I get into trouble for putting a stop on this eventhough I owe them money.

I am in debt but I am unsure of whats on my credit report. I try to figure itout but alot of my debt was from when i was married. Is there really a Free credit report out there? I would like to know so I can try to fix my credit and get outof debt.

I got a payday loan online. The company has deducted 2 payments from my checkings account. I would like to pay in full next time but I have no phone number, no e-mail address for this payday loan company. On my statement at the bank it shows Ambassador collections. Do you have any idea how I can contact this company? I thought they would e-mail me after the deducted the first fee, but I have heard nothing! Please can you help? Cara

Is ameriloan and Oneclickcash the same company? These are my last two to "kill" and they are not very freakin cooperative at all. I just want to settle. I put a ACH stop at my bank for both of them. Just a stop in general for both of them to prevent them from submitting any ACH debits. What do I do about these guys? Does anyone know if they are even licensed? I live in Kentucky, but they are not licensed here I know, but I was wondering if they were licensed anywhere at all?

Palisades has submitted a judgement against me with a third party lawyer acting on their behalf. I know that i was deliquent paying my MCI bill sometime ago, but never imagined it would be this much. Palisades is now charging me for not only what i owed and the interest but for the lawyer fees as well! How do i negoitiate this payment? Whom do i contact first? I don't want to file bankrupcy, however i am considered low-income. What do i do? I don't have a correct address for Palisades either. thank you - Irene

I was reading over some threads here and some things came to my mind. First of all in the " important Lawgistix thread" There was a comment that was mentioned. I am in a debt settlement program and I owe cc debt of 25K. My monthly payment is: 400.00 EVEN. I am in a 36 month program, so by the end of 36 months, I will have paid in: $14400.00 25,000.00/50% is 12,500.00. Meaning I have enough to settle with and fees to company were 2,300.00 total. I don't think that is a bad deal. October will by my 1st full year in the program and I will have 24 months left.
