Hello, I am about ready to make my first down payment to Hess Kennedy/ Credit Exchange on the first of Sept for the settlement program and getting very nervous about people like me to getting out of debt faster. After reading some the comments about Hess kennedy, It has made me wonder why they are not a member of the BBB. I was told by a supervisor at the credit exchange that they were a member. Now I find out they are not. Many other former clients are saying to stay away from Hess Kennedy.

I current have these internet lenders: PAYDAY OK PAYDAY SELECT DISCOUNT ADVANCES UNITED CASH APPLE FAST CASH NATIONWIDE CASH DIRECT EXPRESS TEN DOLLAR PAY DAY LOAN Does anyone know anything about these companies and are they licensed to lend? Does anyone have any idea about moving to another European country? I lived in London and now I'm based in Italy! I left a debt of about 5000 and as this free service (as far as I know) doesn't exist in England I'm quite lost! Of the 7000, 2000 is an over draft and 5000 is a loan! I have been paying this off but it'll be forever before I finish paying it off! As I'm no longer based in England and won't be for atleast 10 years do you think it a wise idea for me to file for bankrupcy? The payments were ok on my English salary but I earn less now and my bank doesn't want to help anymore!

Continually contact you at work? If you have a PDL with Sonic and have defaulted can they continually contact you at work if you've sent them a C & D?

Back in 1997 I purchased a Gateway computer. I cannot remember if it was a written or oral contract. I stopped making payments in April of 2000 due to major financial difficulty. I have since moved overseas to Australia. However this week my parents in Ohio recieved a "you must respond in 30 days" letter for me from National Arbitration Forum. Any advice as to the statutes in this situation and how/if I should respond? My credit is already bad and as I now live overseas how could a judgement effect me?

I never thought I'd be happy to receive a letter of outstanding debt, it may have gotten me out of a difficult situation. In mid July, I was contacted by allied interstate regarding a defaulted student loan in the amount of $8,000. I admit that I was careless about paying back my loan but I don't recall my loan being that high. The Allied rep was very bullying in his approach and insisted that issue a large sum of money through my checking account.
