Help... I got fired from my job, and I have a couple of pay day loans that I have to consolidate. Can anyone give me the number for T&C?? :cry:

I am starting a plan with T&C and a large number of the creditors are pdl's. I have sent them a letter explaining my circumstance and telling them not to contact me at work as well as requesting that they send me a statement of all money that I owe them. I sent it certified mail. I know many of you have gone through this and I am curious how the companies will react to this? Any feed back will help me be prepared for what is next.

I know someone asked a similar question, but this is very important to me and I would like some additional feedback. I am in the process of consolidating my payday loans only with T & C. How does this effect my credit score, and what will the credit card companies I have do once they find out I am working with T & C. Once again the only thing I am consolidating is my outstanding payday loans, nothing else. Please help. Thanks

I have just started getting calls for someone named Daniel Dunn at my home, from allied interstate. I don't want to give Allied any personal information, because the first time I called to check on who they were, they were very rude. I found a different number at this web site, and called it. I spoke to a receptionist, who gave me a number for their "consumer advocacy" group, and told me I would have to leave a message for them to call me back. Back to square one ... should I give them my info to find out what is going on?

Just left me a message saying they are going to send the sherriff to my job since I gave them a bad check? Are they blowing smoke? I live in Texas if this helps.

Just thought I would post this response I received from the FDIC regarding payday loans. I also spoke with someone from the Federal Reserve Board about this, and still waiting for information from them! This may help those who are dealing with banks who are FDIC participating members, that won't help with multiple payday loans close their bank accounts. Quote:

So far today, 2 out of the 4 have withdrawn their fees putting it -169 in the hole. 2 more will come through today. I called my bank and they said that you can't actually close an account, you just take it to a 0 balance and after 2 weeks of non use it will close itself.
