My daughter is 24 and her credit card and car loan reposession amounts are about 10k. The boyfriend left and she is stuck with all the debt. The interest is piling up and we as parents don't want her to file bankruptcy. Can you help her? We have contacted the creditors and the finance charges are half of the balanced owed.. Please help!!!

Are there companies that will work with internet payday loans for consolidation? I have read several topics that seem to imply that there isn't a company like that.

I received a message today from someone names Melanie. She gave me this number 866-728-3760. I called the number and the recorded message says that all representatives are busy and then 5 seconds a later a guy says "Hello" can't they even say the name of the company. Does anyone know this number.

My husband and I have a applied for a loan (our first home loan) and were told that in order to qualify he needed a letter from Palisades collections (the current account holder on an auto loan from 1999) stating that there was a repossession but that it was a VOLUNTARY one. They said that it is not heir policy and while they recognize that it was VOLUNTARY they will not verify it. What to do? Without verification we can never purchase a home.

I received a call from a united federal saying he was legal advit and giving me a case number and telling me they would be coming to pick me up at work for a worthless check. He could not even speak English. He gave me a number to call him and started asking me for my account number I told him I was at work. He gave me a number 732-203-7708. I hung up on him.

Hello keep this short and sweet I have about 75,000.00 in debt not including house and cars. I have been trying to work this out with creditor and having no luck. I got messed up with my 2nd on my house and I do not know what to due. I can't go Bankruptcy they told me this today. Tryed almost every what do I do know? How do I get this debt paid back? Anyone dealt with either of these organizations? CCCSATL is the Consumer credit counseling Service in Atlanta. I believe them to be a legit company because they advertise Clark Howard as being one of their board members...but, I could just be naive. I am looking to contact one of these two locations for some help and counseling. I was contacted by a company from this site, but i am not sure of their answer to my problem. i am not sure that settlement is the right road for me to go down.
