HELP!!! I was contacted by CCCA and have heard wonderful things by T&C. Which of the two companies are better for dealing with payday loan companies, I also have a few things in collections that I would like to clean up also. I've bitten the bullet and decided I cannot do this alone, and am so willing to clean up my mess and move onto a debt free life, working 40 a week with nothing to show sucks!!! I just want to make the best decision for this new and improved attitude towards facing the responsibilities of being a grown up, YIKES! Any opinions would be wonderfully appreciated. Thanks

I am being suied by Asset Acceptance for a Bally's debt from 7 years ago. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this and won the case. Bally's used to practice illegal sales tactics which I was a victim of. Anyone know anything?

Has anyone debt with this collections law firm and can anyone tell me anything about them.

I am looking for examples of letters: 1) letter asking PDL not to contact my employer/family and friends I understand the cease and desist letter only works for collection agencies. 2) Letter stating that I have stopped Ach's from my bank and that I would like to make payment arrangments and to only contact me via e-mail or usps. My main concern is them contacting my empolyer family and friends even if I contact them to make arrangments.

I am considering getting some hard money financing to buy out a partner and I'd like to settle with some creditors with some of the funds as well should I admit that I'm settling debts to the financer? or would a financing source (even hard money) still look unkindly at someone settling debts?

I dont know what to do! I'm 21 years old, and have been faced with extreme financial hardship within the last three months. Therefore I wasn't able to pay even the minimum payments. I made very small payments to all of them last month. I have four credit cards out right now. One of the minimum payments is $120. I don't want to file bankruptcy, and I shouldn't. I just can't get caught up. Anyone have any advice?? I just can't stand these phone calls anymore! And these people are rude and barely speak english!

I need a little help on how to deal with a loan that my husband received from Instant Cash Loan Till Payday (one of Rio Resources dba). He received a $300.00 loan from them. We were paying extension fees every week, we paid a total of $630.00 in interest and $200.00 in principal on this loan. I ended up closing my checking account, due to all of my payday loans. I contacted them informing them of my account closure and asked for alternate methods to pay the balance.

I have been looking and can't find it. I must be searching the wrong key words. Anyway can anyone provide me with a link that will show me what the Statues of Limitation for debt is in Ohio Thanks Jim
