my sister bought a car and she moved and stop paying her car note, i myself don't know where she lives now. her car people keeps calling me at my job and coming by the house harrassing us and i keep telling them that she don't live there and they said they are going to be watching the house for her what can i do?

My bank said it cannot let me dispute finance charges from Payday loan companies because they deposited money in, they can't dispute what is being taken out... what do I do????

I know in the Fair Debt Collection Act a bill collector cannot call you after 9:00 p.m. - does that apply to payday loan companies?

Anyone dealt with them? I have seen some negative reports on a website about them, and i am scared. I am in to payday loan companies and they said the can help? Are they legit?

Hello everybody and everyone, I am 22 years old and am now in about $20,000 in debt, not including car loan and school loans, this is all credit card debt. After moving out of my parents house and starting college, the bills were way too much for me to handle. The cost of living was way more than what I was making. The only job that I could find that would work around my school schedule was and still is at Walmart, and they do NOT pay much at all.

:( We were always running behind on bills and could not buy food. I got into the payday loan era and now I cannot seem to get out. The fees alone are killing me financially.

HI! - I have just found out that Arizona law states that 15% of face amount of the check can be charged only once for each transaction (36% on loans up to 1,000) which would mean on a 300.00 loan 45.00 (if I am correct) and 30.00 on a 200.00 loan. Well the loan companies I have been dealing with have been charging 90.00/per 300.00 and 59.00/per 200.00 and they are not licensed in the state of Arizona. Also, cannot be extended more than 3 consecutive times.

Hi all, I just got off the phone with my bank and they told me that if I close my account and checks still come through they will have to reopen the account. They also said that putting a freeze on the account will be the same. Does this sound right?
