Has anyone heard of Paramount? I received a voice mail message at work and at home. The woman just said her name and said that a civil action was pending and gave me a case number and a number to call. When I called the operator answered Paramount and I hung up. This is the first time I have ever heard from them. What should I do?

Since July 28, 2006 I have received numerous phone calls from a representative of MCM at my place of business. Since this person was requesting to speak to me directly he stated it was of personal nature. My secretary forwarded the messages to me. Since I did not recognize this name I did not return the call.

Capitol Collection faxed a letter containing a Complaint for Warrant regarding a payday loan. It states that i be apprehended and held. I've written to these people twice stating that i am able to make payments on this debt. To date I have no received any response. Can they really issue a warrant for my arrest? They faxed this letter to my place of employment where everyone pulls faxes from the machines. Is this a violation of my privacy? Who knows how many people here saw it and are spreading rumors.
Is debt consolidating putting all your outstanding bills into one? I need to have them put all into one where I only have to pay one bill, that way I keep better track of my bills controlling going over my limit or having late fees charges. -Thanks Lori
