I was recently served with a judgement from midland funding i went to the court house and the clerk told me that the judgement was not final yet because the judge did not sign it yet and i filled a motion to vacate judgement i was given the number to the judges secretary i contacted her to see that they got my motion to vacate judgement and she told me the judge set it for hearing what should i expect this debt is from 10/29/2003 i have all my original papers the account # mid land funding has is not the same as my account # i no they have an mcm account # and original account # none match

so what are my option if any i havent been able to make any payments since last oct, and reall cant at the moment but am will as to not be garnished. I was advised by one law office to wait to be sued, ive already filed a chapter 7 but because of poor repersentation wasnt able to add it as a hardship what to do?

I'm thinking of consolidating my private student loans. I have around 65k in private loan debt. I have an account with Wells Fargo and from what I can tell they have no origination fee or early repayment penalty. The current rates are 4.00-8.750 for variable and 7.990-12.790 for fixed. The interest and APR are the same. Now my credit report, as of March 2012, showed no bad claims. Never missed a payment. My debt to credit ratio is 102% though. Now as of right now, I am currently disputing a late/missing payment with AES. They claim they never received my check.

I have 40g in PSL debt, Ive Been Making payments since 05 and I still owe 40g Last year due to a forclosure scare i stopped paying in order to maintain my home now im getting collection call from reese,weinburg a law firm /collection. they gave me a choice of pay 35g or 4500 and get on a payment plan which neither i can do, help dont want to get garnished. i have spent the las two 4 years fighting with ASSET acceptance over some overly inflated debts that they were unable to prove. they gave me the works even took me to court fought them on my own . now that they both debts are past SOL . i have managed to settle one for a 90% discount which was good as they kept their end of the bargain. now as for the next one which is well over 20,000 thousands. i managed to get a 90% settlement off of that one however they refuse to send me a settlement letter. but yet they have no problem furnishing a paid in full letter upon receiving the money.
