Chances are Allied Data Corp, aka ADC has made the call. Allied Data Corp/ADC is a collection agency and ill-famed of making wrong calls and leaving harassing messages. They do not leave the name of the company or anything. So people get confused about the purpose of the call. They make calls on Sundays also.

People frequently ask one question in this forum: “Why LVNV Funding is appearing in my credit report?” lvnv funding llc is a collection agency, additional DBA resurgent. Let me tell you, I haven't dealt with them personally. But what I have understood after going through the forum posts that LVNV reports consumer accounts to CRA without informing consumers at first place. That is the reason people get confused on why they are appearing on their credit report, might be their own business strategy, lol.

Hello! Who died and made me the authority on collection agency issues? Well, no one died, but when I started to fix my credit in 2002, I had 41 negative items on my credit report. That's right, 41. I fixed my credit, and two years later in 2004, I purchased a 3700 square foot home (after only putting $175 into it), a brand new Ford Explorer for my wife, and a 2001 Honda mini van for myself. How did I do it? I'm glad you asked: I cleared off all of my negative OC (original creditor) accounts accept for one, and all of my collection accounts.

I am looking to assist my wife in settling several credit cards in her name most of which have gone to collection. The debts have all been delinquent for a year but we are newly in a position where we can pursue settlement. The details of how this is possible are not relevant to this posting, but I will simply say that I am personally able to step in provided I can successfully negotiate significantly reduced payoff amounts. As for my wife, obviously her credit rating is shot; all but one of the cards are cancelled and only two remain in the hands of the original creditors.

I currently only have 2 major credit cards. The majority of the balances on each has come from using them to pay my bills. I finished my bachelor's in 2002, and a couple of months afterwards decided to switch careers and go to massage school. Once I graduated from massage school I faced the task of finding a job that would supply me with a steady income. Hello everyone. I have a very confusing question for all of you. Since the beginning of the year, My fiance and I have been working really hard on his credit report to remove mistakes and take care of collection accounts. Some are still in the process. Well last week we applied for an auto loan and had made an error on the application. Because of that error we were denied not only byt he lender but the lenders they forwarded the application to as well. The mistake was involving income ans as opposed to putting down monthly we accidently put down bi-weekly.

any dealt with advance america its a store front pdl i ahve a loan from them for 565 and can't pay it and my account is already closed so if they sent the check it would come back i tried to talk to them today and they said that i shouldn't of took it out if i couldn't pay back. well i had every intention of paying back the amount what will they do take me court? how long do i have til they take me to court for the money?

I've read somewhere in some posts before that united isn't licensed in any state and i've read that oklahoma lenders don't have to licensed or bonded so does that mean united has the right to pratice in state of oklahoma? the rest of this has been edited due to the fact i loooked at my loan docs and my amount finaced was 300.00 and i've back 210 so far.

Does the fdcpa prohibits creditors from calling your place of business, or must a person write a letter to tell the creditor to stop calling at their workplace. Thanks.
