Does anyone know of a reputable company for someone with bad credit to obtain about a $3,000-$5,000 loan that they could pay off over time. I really need to pay off a few bills but cannot consolidate. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have tried one company and got burnt. Please HELP. Any information would be GREAT. Thanks!

Is there a limit on how much a collection agency can add on to your total original bill. I had one account with a PDL and it was for 260 including the fee and I'm not sure how much they tact on for it getting rejected from my bank account, but when the collection agecny called me they said my new total was 699.00. Also I had a PDL out with instantpayday.com and and my total including the fee was 290.00. When it got to the collection agency it went up to 375.

Aren't they part of Rio Resources?

anybody have any info on these people? are they easy to work with?

Hi all, I am very very sorry to hear about all the losses. I was a victim of the same scam a year ago by a company named Lotus financial services. I was scammed out of $1577.00. It was the stupidest thing ive ever done but at the time it seemed like such a great idea. they now have my money and all my personal info. I requested for a consolidation loan and was approved for $20000.00. Never recieved the loan but did pay them my insurance fee of 1577.00 via moneygram. The lady's name was victoria freeman. The reason for this message was about moneygram however.

I am in a terrible pay day loan trap... 5 totaling 2500.. I got these loans when I was in a terrible terrible bind! I was newly married,pregnant,scared, and my husband was sleepin in our explorer. I was too but didn't have to because I was able to stay in Navy barraks.. However, we got these loans to pay for hotels till when found an apartment.. we are now in an apartment but in a terrible pay day loan cycle!! I a being harassed at work... Navy is trying to help but is a chance I am getting kicked out of the Navy for this..

back in june last year comes across as creditprotection/loan as the debit.

I had a Cingular account that I finally refused to pay. I had asked back in September 2005 that my corporate account be closed. I continued to pay my bills as I was guaranteed the account would be closed, of course that employee has long left the company, so I just quit paying. Since this was a corporate account Cingular couldn't close it without authorization from my company. So, I figured the best way to cancel was to not pay. I have not used 1 single minute on that account since September of last year, probably June 2005.

Hello to all! I just spoke with a consultant, who was very nice and helpful, about settling my credit card debt. (I am current on 6 but 1 month behind on 2 credit cards, but with interest/late fees/overlimit fees; I am making NO progress.) I did ask her many questions, but I was sitting here contemplating what to do, I started wondering... Although the payment plan was very attractive, my debt($16,000) would be paid off in 18 months, and they have experts clean up your credit report.
