so here's my situation. i have a lot of medical bills, 100 bucks here, 200 bucks there... mostly because i've been without any kind of health insurance for almost a year now. i also have some debt with an apartment building who is trying to charge me rent for leaving early and a car that i think may be repossessed. (it's been in impound because it was stolen then recovered and i don't know what to do since i already bought a new car). i contacted a debt consolidation agency in my area, but they said they only deal with credit card (unsecured) debt so they can't help me.

My partner and I racked up $13,000 in credit card debt. Now I am solely responsible for repayment and am anxious to retain my good credit. I shop the debt around and none of my interest rates are above 12%. The big problem is I am a waitress and come fall(oct,nov,dec) business is really slow and I am worried about making payments. I am saving for that time but am still worried about making payments. Any suggestions?

Hi Gang, I just wanted to give you a little update on my pdl progress. I've given some information to my lawyer regarding an internet payday lender. I'm not going to say the name in case they maybe monitoring the forums. It seems I have a strong case against them. I can file suit in Ohio under deceptive and predatory lending practices. There maybe some other charges in there, including harassment. My lawyer is looking further into the matter so we can build a stronger case against them. It's just time to fight back a little stronger. :x

I have been getting calls from I.C. Systems, a collection agency that is trying to collect on a medical bill. They called at 9:45pm last week, despite the fact that I had already spoken with one of their reps the previous week and advised as to when I could send a payment. Is calling that late copasetic or what? They are not on the West coast, so the time difference excuse cannot be used. I am so glad I found this site - I am glad to know that I'm not the only one struggling and at the end of my rope. Tiffany

Well, here's my go at it... life started really sucking right after i graduated college.. i should have figured, i graduated on friday 13th!! a full year early, i was thinking life would be good. That is, until I couldn't get a job. Seems nobody wants to hire somebody with a degree in Zoology. I had worked at the zoo previously to get my foot in the door, but so many people want to work there I would have to kill some people in the mile long line to get in. I worked at vets, kennels, pet stores... but i was pretty good with my debt. I paid off my credit cards every single month.

I am a fairly well known member of this board. I am signing in as a guest due to the recent slanderous assumptions being made toward our members by payday loan companies that THINK, they can identify and then harass their customers using this forum.

I haven't had a credit card in over 7 years. I need somehting to get my credit score going back up. I have 1 judgement against me which I am paying off. and one collection agencey which I am making payments too. NO ONE will give me credit. Even capitol one turned me down.. as well as my bank denying me a SECURED credit card. HELP!!! what can I do, I need to get my credit score up.

I receved an email with this as the title. It is from PD6 Ventures/Express Cash which I do not remember very using them as a payday loan. I have paid off all but one of my payday loans and am making arrangements to pay the last one off right now over the next several months in installments. I receive emails all the time offering new PDL's but I say DELETE and I will never use one again. I was just wondering if anyone else received this email (this is what it stated inside the email): Note: I have responded to you with VERY detailed information relating to the debt owed.
