Hi, everyone! I have a question regarding a situation that came up today involving a serious issue concerning my deliquient Providian credit card. By the way, I'm sorry I didn't let you all know sooner that the store-front PDAs I was having trouble paying has been cleared up. I'm currently no longer owing any of them thanks to some help I received from family and friends who helped me pay the PDAs off. I'm now in the process of paying back my family and friends, and keeping all of my bills current except for the afore mentioned Providian Credit Card.

Could anyone tell me what the pdl laws are in Texas? I have a few PDL's that I can't seem to get paid off. They just keep renewing them. I have already paid approximately $1500 on a $400 loan. Any help would be appreciated. :?

I am at work. My husband calls me and says that UPS tried to deliver a package but I wasn't there to sign for it. I called UPS with the tracking # and they say that it is from Wolpoff & Abramson. I have a credit counseling session scheduled for June 26 that I have to take before I can proceed with filing Bankruptcy. I have looked this company up on the internet, and it doesn't look too good. Any advice from you debt gurus out there?

I had someone call me from plaza processing telling me my payday loan I applied for online was approved-they deposited the $ & said I would receive email-well I recd the $ never an email now a month later I still cannot find them or a phone # to tell them I want to pay the loan off. I am paying 75 every 2 wks for a 250 loan which I wanted to payoff 3 days after I received it & they told me on the phone the email would instruct me how to do so. Can you help me with contacting these people?

I have a number of charge off's on my cbr nd i want to get this stuff cleared off my credit report as soon as possible. I want to settle some of my debts and pay the others off in full. Is there a standard letter i should use to request that once they process my payment i want the negative marks removed from my credit bureau.

I am being sued by Pressler and Pressler on behalf of their NCO Finanacial company. The amount is for 1019.00. I'm offering $850.00. I asked for a permit discovery motion in the court and I receieved a 3 question interragatories. I'd much rather settle. Is there a form letter I can use to do this?

I heard originally from LVNV who bought my Sears avvt in 1-06. To make a long story short,it was passed through their many different offices,with the same result. Will not accecpt payments,abusive.etc. The las one was Phillips-Cowen. I sent DV letter 3-20-06,no response,sent another one 4-30-06,still no response. My question is,I do not want a judgement,so should I send a letter with a proposed payment plan to see if they accept? I was Thinking that if I did,if they take me to court I will have something showing I have tried to make arrangements.

Company/Individual reported: riscruity in april i had a brief conversation with a riscruity agent from work. she would not tell me her name. i let her know that i could not take personal calls at work and i gave her my home phone #and told her what time i would be home to make arrangements. on may 1,2006 upon going to the bank, i find that riscruity had collected the money i owed and some.
