I keep getting phone calls from LSI about a customer that I deal with at work. I don't know this person other than dealing with him at work, but this LSI keeps calling and wanting info on him? Is this a collection agency and how can I get them to stop calling?

I just read several threads of our members getting refunds? How does this work? Is there a letter that can be sent? I know for a fact that I have paid far more than my home state allows and the kicker is I am still sending payments to pay off the loan. Suggestions anyone?

How do you find out who your creditors are and how much you owe? I have been out of contact for sometime. Due to health and finacial issues I lost my home phone and even was moving from address to address for a while untill I stabalized a bit. I lost alot of mail that was sent to my old address when I had no forwarding address and at this time I don't even know who owns my debts or who to contact to try and re-establish relations to resolve debt issues. What would be the best route for me to go to start trying to pay off past debts?

Hey, I did some research on internet to try to find some positive debt settlement success stories and all that I seemed to have found was bad things about debt settlement companies. Now, I know there is alot of companies that would probably liked to have never heard of debt settlement and I am assuming that is why I found the "hate" articles.

Can a debt consolidation company do some kind of search that finds all of my loans, private and federal? Because I think i had 3 different lenders in my undergrad, and a couple more in law school.. I'm just about ready to get into a settlement program, the one and only thing that is holding me back is that I'm afraid that the CC companies will be calling my husbands place of employment trying to collect. *The settlement company says we have to be in default for 4 months before they can settle...thus starts the collection calls. We can handle the calls at home. My question: Are the CC companies allowed to call people at work? My husband will lose his job if her starts receiving calls at work!
