hi. going through a very messy divorce. i'm not entitle to any of the equity of my house worth over $100,000. ex-wife got kids house and everything else. i've accrued over $15,000 in credit card debt. one of them has a judgment against me and now wage garnishments has been processed. with child support over $600 a month, i'm barely making ends meet. can someone help me?

I thought posting my progress with the PDLs may help others learn from my experiences. It also helps remind me of the mess I got myself into with the PDLs . I have been contacted repeatedly by Gerald E. Moore's office about an account. The person on the phone says that they do NOT have to validate the debt to me because they are a law firm NOT a collection agency. If they were a law firm wouldn't they have actually sent me a letter telling me I owe the debt and give me 30 days to respond? The only correspondence I have had from these people is a fax and its not signed by a lawyer but a collections manager. So law firm or not shouldnt someone still give me validation of this debt??

*vent* They are such a pain in the cahootie sometimes! Our payments are always current with this company. My frustration is the fact they always CALL me two days after the due date. The payments are in the mail They acknowledged it took them 8 business days to post to the account AFTER they receive the payment. Fine, then don't call me 2 days aftr the due date! Give it two weeks and if nothing, then call! Does anyone deal with this company?

Ihave heard that in order to sign up with a credit card consolidation service, I must be behind in my payments to my creditors. I am not. I am also not recieving any phone calls from my creditors. Can I still sign up with your service?

How do I get in touch with T&C that everyone is talking about? Do they work with payday loan companies, credit cards, bank loans, etc? Any info will be appreciated.

If a CA or JDB informs you of their intent to sue, can you tell them you are filing for bankruptcy and stall their lawsuit? And then...can youchange your mind about filing for bankruptcy?

does t&c have a website? can you communicate w/them this way?
