How do I get the companies I have one or two late payments with several years ago take this off my credit report?

Hello I had a PDL which was illegal HydraFund III I sent out my letter, closed my acct and said I would pay back principal $100, I know its not alot but I have had some financial hardship recently. I never heard from them after letter but got a call today from some dude stating he was a marshal and that Im being sued in my county and need to call back the number and gave me a case #. I called the lady said I was being charged with 3-10 b's and yadda yadda yadda, bank fraud, check fraud but I can pay $290 right now over the phone.

My wife and I have been married 12 years and have been in debt the entire time. We have mortgage payment, 2 car payments, accounts in collections and still owe toward our student loans from college. We both have decent jobs and know that we can fix this, but we just can't seem to even get started. I am very motivated to fix this and although my wife wants to be out of debt she is not as motivated. She has been primarily in charge of our finances and takes it personally when I want to discuss our problems.

Hello, I had an account that was charged off and purchased by the Peroutka & Peroutka law firm I was put on a payment plan and have been for about a year and a half. I recently missed a payment and then doubled up on my next payment. P&P sent back my check with notice that I had breached the agreement and they were moving forward with garnishing my wages. They have frozen my account and are moving forward with legal proceedings. WHO IN THE HECK SENDS BACK A PAYMENT! They gave no notice that this was the course of action if a payment was missed. I don't recall signing a such an agreement.

They called me at work today after 2 months of not paying them because they are illegal in Maine(dont have a license). I sent complaints to the Maine consumer credit protection. The lawyer sent them a letter asking for a refund for the over amount I paid and told them they were not allowed to give out loans to Maine residents. I told this to the guy who called me at work and he seemed to go bye bye pretty fast. He said he pulled something up and said okay thanks. I will check with another department. Do you think they will go away now?

I have a bunch of payday loans that I took out online. I live in South Dakota, which has very lax laws. What do I do? I found out that UCL and Ameriloan are both illegal in my state. What about Cashnet? I don't know what to do. I'm working 4 jobs to try to cover just payments. Please help.

Recently i have discovered that a pay day loan company from over 10 years ago has hired an atty to view my credit report without my permission and not only that, they found out that i had opened a new account with a credit union & sent them a notice to put a lien on my account. What are my rights. I mean this account is over 10 years old & i do not owe them anything. How can i have this hold removed from my account, do i need to file suit against the credit union for not protecting my rights?
