I have an excellent credit score 754 but have a high debt ratio. where is a good place to get a loan to consolidate my bills and have a deadline to pay them off?

I bought a car and due to a hospitalization it was reposessed in sept2001. It is may 17 2006. I have not heard about this car since it was repo'ed and today a man from dunstone financial calls and cusses me out and says he will call me 50 times a day at home or work til i pay up.i had a dispute with the lein holder.they broke their arrangement when they found out i was hospitalized.is the sol up for this.they actioned the car in oct 2001.i haven't heard from them since? Help,hurry!

Hello! I have a question about loans. I currently have a student loan (private, my stafford loans are consolidated but no one would consolidate the private w/ it), and I want to get a fixed rate on it, as the rate has gone up almost 3% in the past year with no signs of relief. I pay the most on this loan to try to get it down the quickest, and I can afford it fine, but I'd really not want it to go up any more. I also have a small amount of credit card debt (less than 2000) that I'd be interested in consolidating w/ the private loan. Is there any way I can do this?

Someone I know is unable to pay off her monthly bills, and she is thinking of filing for bankruptcy. Now, she is only 24, the father left her with 2 kids (She can;t find him, so gets not money from him) and she has a student loan. What are her options? I am 2nd year finance major so she asked me, but I am unable to find a solution. Even though I have my own debt site; It's not helping much. What do you think?

I tracked my certified letter, to the CA. online. it arrived. I am waiting for their reply. Can anyone please tell me what is acceptable proof that the debt is mine and that the CA owns it? Also, what else must the CA send me to verify and validate this debt? Thanks.

I was contacted about a Radio Shack account, after being severely harassed by Academy Collections, I sent them a Cease Com letter. They gave my debt to Gerald E. Moore. They told me pay up, they didnt want to have to garnish my wages. I said I wanted proof of the debt, you could be anybody for all i know. Woman claimed there was NO time to mail a letter and wait for my response. I told her, I don't agree to that amount. So she calls again, acted like she was going to call my employer. I was like oh well, they take me to court they will have to proof their case.

This is a long post, but I think you will find it very interesting to see how persistent these loan solicitators can be. I was solicited by this company after checking out the Prosper Website. They contacted me via pm and approved me for a supposed $5000 loan. Once I bit, then comes the other email from their "attorney". Apparently the company is located in Europe and if you can't travel to close the loan, they will have their attorney do the paperwork for you. Of course, there is a fee of $600 PRIOR to getting your loan.

So, I thought everyone would be interested in this. So if you have been dealing with payday loans, etc. and wonder why a lot of them are listed in Nevada or Wyoming. Well read on... Here is an ad I found for companies that protect peoples assets. Quote:
