I received a letter from asset acceptance llc yesterday, saying I owe $1256.96. When I called they said the debt was from a Radio Shack account I opened in July of 1987. Can they hold me liable for this debt? Bear in mind I have never had credit with Radio Shack and had no credit whatsoever in 1987. Thanks

Hi all I am happy to let you all know that our community site is increasing in popularity all over the internet. Visitors are coming from all over and learning from our community's experience. Our community members are doing great job by helping them out I have a request, A large number of people come here each day looking for the contact information on T&C. Many of you go and jump ahead in helping them out. They take that info and never visit us again. You helped them out but they never came back to share the results with the community.

What exactly happens when you file bankrupcy?

I am in BIG trouble. I have owe $12,000 to AMEX. I have not paid anything on the account since September. My boyfriend owed his own business and was unable to work. My biggest mistake was not to contact AMEX right away or even pay a small amount here and there. I was embarrassed and really had nothing to give them. The account is now with Zwicker & Assoc. They are telling me that they will take me to court over this. They have good ground to do so. I gave them $300 to hold the account until 5/31/06 while I tried to look into refinancing.

Litton loan took over our mortgage and since then it has been a nightmare.About 2 weeks ago I recvd a letter stating they did not recvd our mortgage payment but my husband bank statement clearly states the date the transaction was done and the bank gave us a tracking#. I was so furious becuase I faxed this information including 10 other pages of documents as proof, and they have the nerve to tell me that the bank return our money. But the bank is saying something different. And of course our bank statment is not reflecting the $1300 as being return. I've call daily, getting the run around.

Company/Individual reported: Steve Carver On May 16th your employee, Steve Carver, called my mother and asked questions about another family member. He did not announce who he was nor what the call was about. He also failed to mention the call was taped, which I believe is against federal law. I called to find out exactly who he was and what he wanted and he refused to give me any information. This is when he informed me that the call was taped. I requested a copy, he refused. I also asked what coompany it was and waht they did, he again refused to answer.

Well, the online PDL's did not get paid from me last week (remember I am with T&C)and they started leaving me messages on my answer machine today. I shouldn't answer them right? A couple emailed me yesterday and I just said to contact T&C. Advise me please!

I am feeling overwhelmed and my bank account seems to be held hostage by those payday companies' debits. I took one out over Christmas, then took one out to cover the finance charge debit, then took another out....well you know the rest. Here I am with at least 5 payday advances and no longer can keep up. Please help? Can anyone direct me to the right sources to get help with this asap?

Google adsense is advertising to friggin payday loans on my blog....can i ask them to stop?
