I had a company levy my bank account and there was not enough money so now they are threatning to garnish my wages. Is this legal?

Hi Shirley, I just saw your joining date here and with the post you made a few minutes back with the update. Both the dates looked identical to me. I thought there was a technical problem somewhere. I have faxed One Click Cash 3 validation letters and they won't respond. So today I get a voicemail telling me that if I don't call within 48 hours then they are going to process me futher. I live in Texas and did not find their name as a licensed corporation here. What should I do now?

Myself and My Attorney Steve Hiett and many many others have signed a petition that will be going before the state trying to make Payday loans illegal in the state of idaho. Store Front and Internet.....It is outrageous what these people are doing and they really need to be stopped. Its one thing to loan people money and charged them interest its quite another to charge them over 300% interest annually.......................These companies are no different than loan sharks, they are mafia driven and they have a mafia mind set. I am sure not all of them are like this, but 99% of them are.

Hi I have a question about over the limit and late fee. I had 3 accounts with Capital one. All 3 are with collection agency and 2 have been settled. The last one I'm paying the collection agency $100.00 a month.Amount due is $3,321.16 orginial amount from 1/1/01 due is only $1,200. account on CRA say opened 1/1/01 amount due 2,600 (credit limit was $1,100.)I was going over my OLD mail and found CO invoices. Can they charge OTL fee,late fees and interest for 2 years? I undersand interest ,But OTL and late fee when I couldn't even use the card. Why didn't they close it like the other 2?

:?: Hey everybody, first of all this is a great site and thanks to those that make it possible. I've got a problem with payday loans that I could use some help with. I live in Kentucky and I have 4 payday loans through internet companies ( worldwide cash now, ameriloan, united cash loans, and cashnet 500). The bottom line is that I can't keep paying all of them. I would be more than happy to work out arrangements but I've had no luck in that department. Also closing my bank acount is not an option.
