A few months ago it was posted the section of the US Code that dealt with harassing calls to phones and cell phones. (This is not to be confused with the fdcpa).. I have been looking all over and I can not longer find it. Does anybody happen to know which law this is?? I want to say it was in Charter 15 of th US Code ( 15 USC).. any help is greatly appreciated.... Thanks!

Hey everyone i was wanting to know everyone's opinion on this. I am consolidated with t&c with all my payday loans. I wanted to know would it be a good idea to consolidate all my debt now or should i let t&c pay the payday loans off first. I am just stuck in this and i just need some advice. Thanks alot everyone.

I am about to apply for debt consolidation with a 501.c3 company (United Financials), I need to reduce my monthly payments temporarily, does anybody know if I can go into this program and get out of it at any time, they have mentioned to me that It is possible. When a credit card account has been charged off and sold several times what do they need to show to prove you owe the debt? I received a notice from an attorney's office in regards to an account, I had previously received something from a bill collector I asked for validation and never heard back. Now several years later I get this. Can they just give the name of the original creditor? Is that enough to prove I owe the amount neither my husband nor myself have any knowledge of this account can we request copies of statements and copies of what was charged and who signed for it?

Hey guys, I got throughmy marketing research class with all straight A's, throughout the semester we had to make up our own marketing research project. Mine was based on something that's been on my mind for quite some time. I cancelled my subscriptions to Cosmo, Marie Claire, Mademoiselle, and Glamour two years ago because it was so full of repetitive and contridictory fluff. By that I mean every month would have articles on accepting yourself as is, and articles on tummy tucks, lipo, and **** jobs.

I am currently involved with a credit agency that is trying to get me to make payments on original debt that is over 8 years old. To summerize: pardon me if I am unsure of exact dates...we had flood damage that ruined most important docs. that I had record of....and with most of these dates streching back nearly 5-7 years ago...I am doing my best with what I can remember. My husband purchased a vehicle in the later part of 1998....we made payments on this vehicle for less than one year. At which time we turned the car back over to the creditor (Union Acceptance Financial).

Well, after my latest incident with my GM Card, I decided I will fix them good. I enrolled in the debt managment program sponsored by my credit union called Balancepro. I am working with CCCS out of San Fransisco. My bank paid for the entire session for the counseling. Other programs were making my payments around $225/mo which is the same I am paying now with current interest rates and finance charges. Balancepro was able to get my payments down to a total of $160/month. I am actually going to have money to save at the end of the month!!!
