Does anyone have contact information? I am receiving calls from a David White 305-433-8367 who is collecting on behalf of this company. I have lost their information and when he leaves messages they are threatening and he doesn't mention who he works for.

Has anyone heard of MRS? I had a message from them to call about an important legal matter. The caller spoke in broken English.

Please forgive me for the long post, but at this point I really think I have ruined my life. Last year I suffered a work related injury, ended up loosing a considerable amount of my income, and essentially had to start using credit cards to pay bills & feed my family (five kids), and gas $ to go to school (over 200. a week). At that time, I had only 3200. in CC debt, now I am in over 20,000. I contacted a credit repair company and decided that it would help me to get back on track.

Anyone else having any IRS trouble? I though I could put them off for a bit longer on a back tax issue and got something last week called a Wage lein which is basically taking your entire paycheck. I was able to kill it before it went into effect by working out a payment plan. Must be their way of getting noticed. I did not think they could do that - take your entire income ( well about 80% of it ). No courts no judgements - just do what they want.

Have we gotten to where we can all stand around, point and laugh? No? Maybe soon.

Just wanted to give you all a quick update. I talked with T&C today and it looks like all the lenders I have, with the exception of Advance til Payday, have signed the proposals. The only real annoyance I have had is with Dollar Financial,aka Loan Mart/Money Mart. They call me on a daily basis,sometimes 3-4 times a day. Each time I talked with someone they said they had not heard anything from T&C and could I please have T&C contact them. Well, low and behold, I get a call from DF yesterday,the guy was kind of rude.

I will try to make a long story short... I was seperated in 1999, divorce was final in 2001. Divorce decree states that in lieu of back child support and alimony, my ex-husband agreed to pay specific debts that were in both of our names. Of course, he stopped paying on them, and he filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy about 3 years ago. Last weekend I got a letter from a collection agency that had purchased one of the debts (all are credit card debts) from Discover.

I keep reading postings that are referring to T&C, would you please define? thanks

Today my last Payday loan was changed to paid in full,after paying them over $3500 in interest and complaining to the AGs office in thier state,a very nice person from Gecc call me today and told me that they a going to forgive the rest of my loan.They followed up with an email,and will be sending me the paperwork in the mail.I have no more payday loans,I so happy,now all the money Im putting into consolidation will be going toward my credit card bills,and they should be paid in full in about 11 months.Im so happy I found this board when I did,or I might be living in my car now.Thank you, to a
