Hi folks, I am dealing with a collection agency regarding an old medical bill. It is almost four years old and I really can't remember what it is for :( Anyway, I sent in the validation request and they did respond. They just listed a few payments I had made years back but did not included any original paper work. They have not reported to any agency so that's good. How do I respond to this because I really don't feel that this has been validated according to the fdcpa laws.

Okay, I received a letter from the First Bank of Delaware who supplied the loans to Universal Cash Advance. I sent a letter to Universal Cash Advance awhile ago asking for licensing information, etc etc. They are not licensed in my state and this was being paid through T &C before I ended my debt consolidation program with them last week. In January, they had turned me over to collections. I sent the validation request and also disputed the validity of the debt. It was sent via certified mail with return receipt requested.

Hello All, I sent an e-mail to Cash Today Limited a couple days ago and no response from them yet. It was basically stating that I know my State laws and I was requesting to speak with them in regards to these laws but they have not responded to my e-mail yet. I'm just wondering what I should do next after I have let 48 hours pass by (the timeframe in which I gave them to respond because it was so 'urgent' for their company to get a response from me).

I have been reading this forum for past few months. I have seen people discussing on T&C. I contacted them for my payday loans and some other credit card debts. They do not operate in all the states. And some of the lenders did not accept their payment. I have read that it depends upon the efficiency of the consolidation company to get the payment plan approved. Then why T&C could not get it done? Also I could not get a response from the counselor and my queries remained unsolved.
