Hi, I live in Missouri and just signed up with a debt settlement company I know its the best decision but I am really worried now about the credit card companies filing suit against me and garnishing my wages. If anyone has gone through this process already could you please help me by explaining how often legal action is taken when you settle. I guess the phone calls are getting to me since Ive stopped paying them. Thanks for everyone in this forum You guys are lifesavers/

So I called Oak View Law Group(the number that is on this site to do debt consolidation) for two installment loans that I owe to Check n Go and Cash Call. I owe Check n Go about 5500 dollars of a 2000 loan that I took out with bi weekly payments of 309 and I'm not sure how much I owe cash call but I took out a loan for 1500(only got 1000) and I have to pay 200 a month. So Oak View said that they could consolidate my debt by me paying them 250 a month for the next 17 months and my debts will be settle. I agreed.

I had a payday loan that I defaulted on but am now paying a collector alliance soluitons out of fort mill sc. They threaten me with all the legal action and called my work and I was avoiding them till that point and agreed to make payment aragements. On my third payment my bank put a hold on them because of fruad activity coming from the state, and told me to ask questions, so I been doing that all day and am now confused if they are a real colletion agency.

Hi, I recently sent out a dispute letter to Experian. I mail it to Experian P.O.Box 2104 Allen, Texas 75013-2104 I have it certified mail and return receipt (signature) I check the status and today got the mail box showing Addressee Unknown. Can someone please tell me the correct mailing address to Experian. I google around it show I have to right address. Thanks in advance.

I currently have 5 pay loans out with: -VIP Cash #2/Qloot - $800 loan, as of 7/27 paid $920 in "refinance" charges -VIP Loan Shop - $400 loan, as of 7/27 paid $710 in "refinance" charges -Mesa Financial - $300 loan, as of 7/27 paid $520 in "refinance" charges -PDLnow.com - $200 loan, as of 7/27 paid $600 in "refinance" charges -Rockford, Inc - $200 loan, as of 7/27 paid $500 in "refinance charges" Can someone assist me with finding out if any of these companies are legal in California and the appropriate steps to take next?

I keep getting calls throughout the day from these people, they call my cell and home number back to back. They leave at least 3-4 messages on my home number, but not on my cell, I have all their number routed to go straight to voice mail, but at the end of the day it shows approx 5 missed calls from them. I did have an account with Lane Bryant, but I do recall paying a little extra for the protection plan in case I lost my job..which is what happened, therefore couldn't pay all my bills.
