I discharged bankruptcy 15 months ago, would that prevent employment? Would that show up?

First, thank you to everybody who posts here. You have helped me more than I can say. I now feel like I have a little control. :D I'm wondering if anyone has a sample of the Notice of Defense. Sonic sent a wage assignment to my employer. I got notice today (4 days before payday) that they would be garnishing my next paycheck. I have called and sent emails to the Payroll and HR departments and also to the Attorney in charge of HR, but the only person who I did get to talk to said she would "look into it". My payday is next week. I don't have time to wait.

Do or will a collection agency like asset acceptance llc, take payments off a debt? Say like I have a debt with a company that's $2,000.00 and in stead of can't afford pay off this entire debt, can we agree that I can at least pay $200.00 or less a month. Hi everyone! I see that many of you are still hazy on what exactly your rights are. I hope everybody reads this. Here are your rights: Privacy and protection. No collector can talk to anyone other than you without your explicit permission. To do so constitutes violation of federal law. Peace of mind. If you can't or don't want to take their calls at work, your verbal insistence is enough to stop that. To call you at work after you have asked them not to is a violation. Also, if you do not want any telephone correspondence, they should comply to only contact you in writing.

I was approved for Purpose Advantage credit card with Discover network, they have the worst customer service, I think they have 12 yr old kids working there the way it sounds when you talk to them on phone. They have reported on my credit report I have 2 cards with them, and I don't. does anyone have any info on this company

I applied for this card, it states that as long as you have a checking account your automatically approved, but when I applied they said I was declined, they state they don't don't check credit, but I looked at my credit report and they did. Anyone know anything about this and have contact number for them.

Does anyone know some numbers for allied interstate. They took my money and say they dont have it. I have proof on my bank statement! Now the number Ive been contacting them through will say: All of our customer service reps are currently busy, blah blah blah your call is important to us please stay on the line and somone will be with you shortly. Yhey put me on hold for 2 minutes and the a voice comes on and says "This number 800-811-4214 is no longer in service" These guys are so rude.

979-799-7922.....keeps calling my cell phone...don't recognize it as any of the payday loan companies I have listed in my records...does anyone know this number?
