Hi... so I stupidly have taken out payday loans on two separate occasions now this year, with the first set of about $2,500 being paid off and now the second set totaling about $3,000. I have now read up on Minnesota's payday loan laws and have not been able to find a single lender that I've used among the legal lenders here.

hi im in some bad financial situations and i need a little help trying to get out. im 18 and my fiance is 19 we both have got into some debt with payday loans i am not as deep in debt i only owe 700 dollars in payday loans and my fiance owes over 1600 in loans. the problem is that its hard to pay these loans back when were both students and only make about 1500 a month on top of the loans cell phone bills and my 2 credit card bills as well as trying to move into our own place again WE FEEL TRAPPED :(.

I was sued by Frederick hanna on behalf of bank of america. I put in a response to the court, then I asked them to verify everything. They verified everything with past statements. I am in terrible financial shape. Is there anything i can do, filings, etc to try and get at least 6 months delay, to give me time to raise some money, or should i just call them and try and make a settlement. Would they even accept monthly payments? Any recommendations on good atlanta lawyers that would fight for some kind of delay in the court process, so i could get some more time?

Hello. My name is Victoria. I was contacted by Westwood Asset Management regarding a collection that I apparently owe to your company. I am trying to find out what this is for and make sure that it is not a collection that I previously paid another agency. Can you help me with this? I was told this was from a payday loan from April of either 2006 or 2008 (would have to be 2006 since I have not received any payday loans since that year). I am sure the delinquency was purely an accident on my part.

:cool:If you discuss an old bill that may have had the statute run out or they don't have the original documentation it updates to a new debt. Do a letter demanding they supply you with proof of the debt from the original creditor. MOst of them don't have them because they buy old debts. They have to give you proof within 30 days you have to send your letter certified mail return receipt requested. If they can not prove it's your debt within the 30 days and do not respond send a copy of the green card and your letter to each credit bureau and they have to remove them. Hope this helps.:D

Hello, I took a Private loan initially for 16K and with interest fee and all that came up to 22K. Unfortunately, due to a financial hardship, my loan was in default and charged off due to 120 days outstanding. I have been in communication with the Debt Collector. To make the long story short, they came up with a final offer to settle for 5K. What a generous offer! However, I would like to know the consequences if I'm taking this road and settle for 5K. Will I end up owing the IRS for the remaining balance? Thank you in advance for your speedy response.

These people have been contacting me at work EVERY DAY!!!! It is embarassing to have all the office people know that I am gettign these calls and it has gotten to the point where they have blocked one number from calling but they must be calling from a different number. What can I do to get this to stop if anything? I'm always making excuses for who they are and I can't keep doing that.
