How does debt arbitration affect you credit rating?

I received a threatening call from this company today, and then they hung up on me, they would not provide me with their address to verify whether or not this was a legitimate business, I then called bakc and was screamed at by the MANAGER whose name is Paul Heckum or so he says, he continued to threaten me with regards to a bill that was paid and never late, this business sounds like a scam if you ask me :evil: Be careful to anyone who comes in contact with them because there is no reasoning with them.

I just got done writing up a letter to wells Fargo, its a negotiation letter, in terms of getting a monthly payment started with them. Should I send a 'good faith' payment along with this---the first payment of the money I was offering as a monthly payment? I got stung by the collection agency last year that was holding this account, when I just started sending payments. I sent two money orders and then a personal check. Acccording to the letter I received from Wells Fargo on monday, they're claiming they don't know what happened to one of the money orders. guess its gone with the wind.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone's fine. Still trying! :) Here's the thing ,ok we have a list that has BAD Debt collection agencies. Now is there a BAD Mortgage companies list. Like I heard and my mother in law heard on the news that Ameriquest wasn't a good mortgage loan place to try. She heard they did alot of illegal things.? So who's who?? Now did anyone ever hear of these 3 places: US Financial Group, Inc...HomeQuotes 1-2-3..Christian family loans. And can anyone give me a list or someone that we can try for a refi loan.

I am 24 years old father of two with 25,000 CC and Student loan debt and earn about 50,000 a year. For the next year I should make about 75-80,000 how can I consolidate all my debt to stop with those minimum due payments and instead pay one amount for one company? Please help me L Land

T&C now have our payday loans and my checking account has been closed and a new one reopened at a totally different bank. One of the payday loans is Cash Transfer Centers. I have read all the horror stories and I really don't want my husbands job to receive phones calls or any other references. Should I just send out cease and desist letters even before they start harrassing us. :evil: What other things should I do before they start calling and harassing? Melissa

I am SOOOOOOO happy now that I'm almost out of debt!! You see, when I was 19, I was a single mother of two beautiful babies. I went to college and took out a student loan. I didn't think of the consequences at that time, the money was strictly used for childcare and I thought I'd pay it off as soon as I could after graduation. But when it came to credit and credit reports and things of that nature, I thought "ah, no big deal. you don't need credit to buy a home. etc." So I never really thought about it. I did however care about my student loan.

Has anyone heard of a company called AAA Credit and Recovery with the phone number of (888) 223-4214. They keep calling me and not being specific as to why they are calling me only that I need to call them right away to resolve a pending matter. I live in Ontario. Also, I have some payday loans outstanding and am curious as to what happens if this company has been sourced by the pay day company? How do I know if they are legit when asking me to send them money? How do I know if they are calling on behalf of the payday lender? How do I get any documentation?

Ok...Here's how you know I'm obsessed. I had a dream last night that I got some collectors to get off my credit report. I was all excited. Then I woke up. :roll: But maybe it's a good sign! :) YAY!
