Can you give me some insight on how they can collect when you have already paid them and you have proof through your bank records. Melissa calls me everyday asking for something different and saying now that I owe over 1000.00 since they have not rec'd that 300 from me.....UNREAL

Hello...I recently contacted a non-profit re: reducing my debt. I owe around 18,000 and pay about 450 a month..I was quoted a figure of 527 a month...I thought the goal of consolidating debt was to reduce monthly payments, not increase them...Anyone have any advice? Thanks,

Hi! I was just wanting to understand how a collection agency was granted a judgment against me when I went to Court today for an acct that the date of last activity was 11/1999. I appeared in court with the SOl as my defense and the collection agency was granted a judgment against me. I still don't know what happened. Can anyone help?

I recently took out a loan with these people and I paid 100.00 a week for 4 weeks and then I decided to pay it off early and I paid them 330.00 the last payment. They say they never received it. I faxed over my statement from the bank and even an on line statement that showed it cleared. They say they never received the $$ for the 330.00 payment. They are now telling me that I owe over 1000.00 because I never made the last payment. They want me to do a 3 way call to the bank which I refuse because I am not giving them the authorization to.
