This is the name of a new collection agency to my collection. Question is....This was an electric bill from 2000. To my knowledge, it was never through a collection agency until now. So..If I pay this to InoVision, does this start everything all over again, or does this debt still belong to 2000????? It's only $213, which I can pay next week no problem, but is it going to make it stay around longer?

Someone called my elderly neighbor tonight and said something was wrong with my phone, please go over and give him a message to call 800-864-6033 regarding a red flag on his social security number. It's urgent. I have not called this number, I have no idea who it is, my sister suggested I research it first. I had some debt problems back several years ago, and thought it may be something with a old debt. So I am asking here before I do anything about this call. Anyone know anything about this number.

My question is if anyone has the link for the State and UCC code so that I can make sure my state (PA) allows restrictive endorsements. And also, I tried to understand the example in one of the responses (I believe it was Nebraska) and as a laywoman, I have absolutely no idea where the state is or is not. Has anyone dealt with Pinion North Collections. They deal with 500 Fast Cash and US Fast Cash collections. If so, were you able to get confirmation of payment from them? I have already paid them off, have copies of my receipts for payment that I will keep for my records. But it seems like getting payment confirmation is difficult from them.
