I'm weighing my options on getting this old junk paid off... Which is better? Pay off old debts first? Or should I work more on newer stuff? I'm planning on sending everyone SOMETHING, just trying to figure out how to divide it all up... Once things start getting to zero balance, how long will it take to start seeing an increase in my credit score? I know it will be years before it's perfect, but I'd like to see them go up even a little..

We are not behind in Credit Card payments and our interest rates are not bad,want to lower our monthly payments into one. Uur unsecured payments are about $1100.00 per month. We are Ok now, but will not be in the not too distant future.Please advise. Thank you

I have an old bill from an imaging center. The bill is only for a few hundred dollars BUT here is why I have not paid it. I went in for a CatScan. They injected me with dye and we found out the hard way that I was allergic to it. I was sent into respiratory arrest and subsequently transported to the hospital. The Imaging Center billed me for the catscan even though this had happened. They never got any money from the Insurance Company because they had not performed the procedure. They have since been coming after me and reporting it on my credit report.

I just recently pulled my credit report and have found that on some accounts there are between 2 and 4 different agencies reporting on the same debt. For one there are 3 agencies reporting it AND they each are showing different amounts ranging from $175 to $800! If I report this to each of the three major Credit Bureaus will it help to dismiss some of them? How do I tell which one is legit and which ones are just trying to get money out of me?

If I change from Incharge debt solutions to T&C with all of our credit cards, will the creditors throw a fit and refuse payments? Incharge is letting the creditors do as they please and I am so sick of it. Their statements show payments sent, but the OC's are stating they are not receiving anything, or receiving lower than they payment they agreed to. Input needed.

I still remember when I wrote my first love letter which was almost 4 pages long. IMO love E-mail's somehow will never come to that level. Do you think in this world where everything (love included) is commercialized with cards, already prepared messages, already prepared flashy sms and mms we still take time to write those love letters? I have been bothere by palisades collection agency almost daily! I consolidated my sons debts and it has been paid in full by capitol one! I have even sent a copy of the cancelled check that paid for the amount they're asking! Help! I'm starting to understand some of the lingo..but i need help! Thanks!!

I am concerned how my debt consodidation will affect my husbands credit. The debt that I have is only mine, but our house is in both of our names. Will his credit be affected by my going into debt consolidation?

Just now I read the news that a 17 year old high school student in Boston complained to the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights. He has accused that his school authorities discriminate against boys and treat girls to be more superior. This boy, Doug Anglin says that the girls are never punished even after doing some unfair things. Moreover, they are encouraged to perform better than boys in their academics. The name of the school is Milton High School. It's in Massachusetts.
