Does anyone know how to get ahold of these people? I can find NOTHING anywhere about them, and with my tax return coming next week, I'm going to finally be rid of this mess they call payday loans...That is if I can get rid of this last one--Alpha.

Hello Again, I have a few more specifics on a recent call I received. Jefferson Capital appears to be the company that is calling and leaving messages for me at my Dad's house. It's funny, because when you call the line, the recording doesn't give their name, just says "card service Center" or something like that. I'm sure that's a deliberate attempt to make you think you are talking to the original creditor, when you are not. Anyway, I know this debt is waaaaayyy past the SOL, and I need to send them a letter.

If I enter into debt consolidation then who will pay to my creditors?Will your program stop legal action against me?

I am currently applying for an apartment, and am a bit concerned about the credit application. I am in the process of repairing my credit, but am a bit concerned. How bad does credit need to be to get turned down? There are 4 negative items on my credit that I have disputed, and 5 positives. Does anyone have any experience with being turned down, explaining their situation and then being accepted? I have excellent rental and employment history.

My experience has been that payday loan companies do not report to the three major bureaus. They use TeleTrack instead. I have defaulted on quite a few of them and none of them has been reported, even the ones that are in the hands of an outside collector. Please feel free to share your experience.

I had a checking account that was closed. I got into payday loan trouble. The bank closed my account and now I have a collection agency calling me telling me I need to call them before 1 pm and they will be processing my account for further action. What should I do?

I defaulted on my Target account back in 2003 and was contacted by a collector "northland group" who claimed my balance due was $335.00 but was willing to settle for 167.51 which made more sense because I think I only had a $200.00 limit on the card. By the time I was financially able to pay (I had other debts as well) I contactacted them and they told me they no longer had the account.
