My husband has a past debt w/ Sears. The debt was forwarded to allied interstate and my husband and MIL made a payment to Allied and they agreed over the phone to payment arrangements. They even gave them our bank acct info. When I found out they did this, I was upset as you can imagine b/c they didn't get anything in writing. I asked my husband to call them in November to get something in writing stating what we owed and our agreement. Of course, they showed that they didn't have a record of the agreement and that we owe them the full amount.

Has anyone dealt with Premier Processing payday loans before? The reason I ask is that apparently my account has been transferred to a collection company called First Credit of America, however, when I call First Credit of America they have no record of my account. What suggestions do you have? I don't want this collection to end up showing up in the future and hurting me somehow. If there is no record of my account with the collection company then I am assuming I have no due account.

I had a checking account with Whittaker Bank in Richmond, Kentucky. Everything went really great for about 6 months. Ten I noticed that on my statements I had a balance, then I han an available balance. When I called the bank to ask about it I was informed that the money in my account was my money and that I had made several errors when making deposits. I am very aware that math is not my best subject. But I didnt think it was that bad. I had over $700.00 dollars in my account I was told. It wasnt a loan nor was it a credit. I checked with them about this for over 2 months.

I have never in my life had a loan, partailly because I wouldn't been aprroved for one and I dont like to waste peoples time, and because I have never applied for one. I have never needed to. I guess my question. Is would I need to apply for a loan to pay off all my debt. It isnt much but its alot. My debt is about Twelve Thousand Dollars. What companies are avaible to help you get a loan to pay off old debts and repair credit?

I am getting collection calls from NCO for a person that must have had my phone number in the past. When we bought our home almost 2 1/2 years ago, got the number we have now and the calls started immediately and were sometimes many times a day. Every time I have spoken with someone, have been assured the number was being removed from the system and I would get no more calls. Since I worked third shift back then, I needed my sleep and even called to get their information rectified.

I am having a hard time understanding the statutes of limitations. I live in Florida and have several accounts nearing the 7 year mark. Now I have collection acencies reporting less than that. Do the SOL end from the last date of activity or when. Am I responsible for paying the collections? Can someone help???

I have sent the first letter to my credit card companies (from your sample letters). They have responded stating that they will NOT work with me. Do you have a second letter (sample) that I can send out to them? Thank you.
