Vikas had posted the above in another thread, and so that I'm not hijacking from that thread I wanted to start a fresh one to ask a specific question.
About the above -- I read on a site run by an attorney that in 1996 an amendment was made to fdcpa which requires the "mini-Miranda warning" to be included only in the initial communication. Subsequent communications must only cite that the communication is from a debt collector.
Has anyone else seen anything similar to the above?

Did not know about validating debt until finding this forum20 years 2 months ago I have paid almost $3000 to them, $200 every two weeks, did not know about validating the debt etc until finding this forum recently, and have never received any documentation despite many verbal requests. Knowing what I do now with the suit against them etc I do not want to send them anymore money, but I'm terrified that if I don't this Friday (I send it every other Friday by MoneyGram) that they will start their harassment again and cause all kinds of embarassment and problems for me at work or even call my family....can anyone advise?
