Can Quick payday call my work if I stop paying?

19 years 9 months ago
:( I have a loan with quick payday loans over the internet right now, which I've had for about a year now and I can't pay it off. I've recently paid off a couple of payday loans I've had with other places and I'm down to this one and one with pay day ok. I read on another thread that quick payday will work with you but I was hoping somebody that has dealt with them can give me some tips. I'm looking at having to stop payment on them and I need to know what happens next? Will they call my work or my home or what they will do. Please help me out and thanks for your time

Instead of validating the debt, copies of loan sent

19 years 9 months ago
I sent a dv letter to a collection company and they sent me copies of the loans that I had, but they sent two loans from one place that I know for a fact I only had one loan with them. Even on the papers the loans have the same exact application ID number. I will not pay twice for the same loan. What should I do? Please help......

Old judgement expired unpaid, is it considered outstanding?

19 years 9 months ago
A credit card company was awarded a judgement against me 12 years ago. It expired without being paid. Credit has been excellent for the last 10 years and the judgement is not shown on any credit report. Is this considered an "outstanding" judgement and do I need to report it when applying for a mortgage?

bad settlement company has ruined my credit

19 years 9 months ago
1. would it be best for me to order a copy of my credit report to get started? 2. i see "charged off" in a lot of these posts - what does that mean? suddenly, i had $11,000 in credit card debt. i was not delinquent on any account but wanted to get ahold of the situation. three years ago i (ignorantly) signed up with a settlement company- ji financial. they sold me to fornia, luftman and heck. this has turned out to be a very bad decision. i have paid $200 every month for the last three years and they settled one account - not even the largest.

Collection Phone Calls after sending a cease letter

19 years 9 months ago
I sent a cease phone contact letter to a company who it was delivered to on October 17. I sent it via certified mail with a return receipt. I have not yet received the green return receipt yet. I am able however to check online at the USPS and found it was delivered on October 17. I just received today October 18 a demanding phone call left on my machine stating "YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY". I am will to make payment arrangements but I do not want to do it over the phone. This company has also contacted me on previous occassions before 8am at work.

10 important things that Collection agency won't tell you!!

19 years 9 months ago
I was doing some research on the nature of business of some collection agencies. Here is what I summed up looking at the illegal activities: They want to earn largely from your money Collection agents have huge commissions on the money they recover from you. It may be even double or triple the amount of their salary that they earn. There main intention is to force you to pay just on anything so that you agree to make a ‘down payment'. Making the payment date urgent The collectors often set up deadlines while recovering money from you.
