I received a call today from one of their agents, he would not give me any details, just told me that the company i took out a loan with Bahamas group has sent my account to them, they were now going to have me invoked at my place of employment. What is my legal recourse? told the man I could pay on thursday he said no. how do i get this people off my back. I have already filed one complaint against a group call prelitigation that is in the florida area, same place this person called from. HELP!!!!

I work in the payroll department of my company, Sonic Payday just called to find out if we received a wage garnishment to begin taking money out of my paycheck to pay back a loan I took out. I explained to the gentleman that I would transfer him to my supervisor but that it was my understanding that court paperwork was needed to garnish my wages. He said since I signed the authorization to garnish when I took out the loan no paperwork was needed from the court. My supervisor has already told him that this was not the case and he said he would fax it over anyway.
