I have not finished paying for a vehicle that I currently posses for some 5 yrs now. The concern is the bank has sold my account to someone else and paid off most of the debt. I owe some $6k dollars on the vehicle. My question is can I negotiate payingoff what I owe and keep the car?

All right, since the topic in question was my idea, I'll take the reins and lead the way. As all of us know, when you're in debt, you have very little money left over after paying "atleast the minimum" on your outstanding bills. Sometimes you're left with nearly nothing. So, how DO you get by? First, you should always follow the "Pay YOurself First" rule...meaning, when you get that paycheck, make sure YOU are taken care of first! Do you have food? Essentials that are NEEDED? Gas?

I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam. However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

Did they take over accounts from Ellis Crosby? I received a letter from them yesterday. (Any CA that tells you that they can't send a validation letter is full of crap) anyways..They are collectiong money for e-payday. Which is fine but my new balance is $1444.50. I have a loan with Sonic payday and I'm in the process of filing bankruptcy. They won't give me an address so I can send the paperwork. they only give me a fax number. I don't think my attorney will fax anything to them, or will they? How can I try and get the address to send a letter revoking the wage assignments and to send the bankruptcy info to them?

Disputed two incorrect items with transunion, and my score went down 5 points. Whats so funny is Equifax is 37 points above what transunion is and Experian is 19 points over transunion, wonder why this is?

I received a statement from a doctor that said they did an audit and that I owe $180 from November/December 2003. I disagree with this, as it was a pay as you go type chiropractor. Should I ask for proof (you had to sign in at the time of your visit)? I haven't received any notifications that I owed them anything. What are the statute of limitations.

A particular time span is assigned to student loans after which it is declared as default. During this specific time period, the loan is said to be delinquent. This time span could be 270 days to 330 days depending upon the type of loan, date of loan disbursement etc. When the loan is delinquent try hard to keep it current and avoid default, because once it's declared default, you lose a bunch of facilities.
