Let's bring some light into debt situations: here are some money jokes 8) A businessman walked into a New York City bank and asked for the loan officer. He said he was going to Europe on business for two weeks and needed to borrow $5,000. The loan officer said the bank would need some security for such a loan. The business man then handed over the keys to a Rolls Royce that was parked on the street in front of the bank. Everything checked out and the loan officer accepted the car as collateral for the loan.

I recieved a call from them yesterday while I was at work and the man on the phone harrassed my daughter calling her names. I tried to get information from him on the details of his call and he would not give me any information and just hung up on me. What dhould I do?

Does anyone out there know of a company that is offering this service? My local credit union was at one time but not anymore. I am in some deep credit problems and am trying to avoid filling Chapter 7. Any information or ideas would greatly be appreciated. James

I know that this is a forum about debt,but I would like everyone to take a moment and remember all of the things we take for granted.Electric,phone,running water and a warm safe place to sleep at night.My heart goes out to all who were affected by Katrina.My little debt problems seem so small now.I could not imagine having to start all over again with nothing but the clothes on my back or losing a member of my family to this disaster.
