What do you charge for the credit card consolidation after the free counseling & analysis?

i received a phone call from Ellis, Crosby and Assoc last thursday and they were threatening me with filing papers against me. I called back yesterday and they told me that I had to send a portion of the money or they would file a lawsuit against me. I sent them the money. What can I do now about the rest of the money they want?

Hey everyone 8) About 2-3 months ago, my car was repossessed, which left my fiance and I with his car. Now his bank is threatening to repossess his car. Well, we certainly can't get through life with no car! Both of our credit is poor and so we really can't get a car loan. Does anyone know any reputable car dealerships or car loan companies that will loan to those with bad credit? I have to get a car before HIS disappears too....

If you make arrangements to settle an account and pay the amount agreed to, how does this show up on your credit report?

ive been reading everyones situation and mine is similar...i have 9 payday loans out. and my bank is overdrawn and i think they are getting ready to close it... so what can i do will i go to jail for all these unpaid payday loans or can i make payment arrangements...........please any information will be greatly appreciated.

When I talk to someone about collection agencies , these are the reactions I get,

• They are animals , they do not know how to talk.
• They are there just to collect money at any cost, they do not follow laws.
• And Blah Blah but everything against them.

Do we have good collection agencies, which work with the customer in repaying it? Is it possible? :) I have some respect for collection agencies as their bread and butter is collecting money, do we ever co-operate with them?

I need help from the law gurus... I've been handling my fiance's loan accounts with a certain Credit Union. He was previously married, so his ex-wife's name is on one of his loans as a co-signer. He informed the bank that they had divorced, that he and I would pay the loans and that he and she have nothing to do with the other anymore. Well, one day the ignorant ex-wife calls the Credit Union and they give her OUR address and OUR phone number!!! (meaning my fiance and my info).
