I received a call from a karen baker at ellis,crosby and associate. She left a really strange message. That it was important I call her back rightaway or my attorney. Then she said good luck to me. Now that I read these emails. Who really arre these people? And are they really suspended by the ACA Ethics and Professional Responsibilty Commitee for ninty days? And if so are they suppose to be making these kind of phone calls? And could you send me an email with a phone number so I can verify their supension. This way I can bring it to there attention?

I have a credit card bill for almost 1 year of $22874. I tried to consolidate but I see my statement increasing. How can I get a loan to pay this bill?

I have my Equifax report from Oct of 2004 and on it It has Sears and my account was charged of for 800.00 Well I have applied for credit cards and I was declined for all of them. I just got my new credit report Sunday from Equifax's website and now Sears is no longer on my credit report! The SOL was up this month. All I have on my credit report now is one Jewelery store credit card that was never late and is paid off. I never even used the card since 1995. My Bankruptcy from 1997 is on there and 1 collection agency that I owe 12.00 to from 3 years ago.

how does debt consolidation appear on your credit report

I received a fdcpa notice for a collection agency for a debt that is not valid. The creditor indicated on the notice is indicated as EBAY, INC., and I have never made any purchases from, or sold anything through e-bay. The name and address of the collection agency on the notice matches the name and address your web site indicates for this agency, but the phone number does not. How would you recommend I proceed with getting more information? If the notice itself is fraudulent, I don't want to give these people any more info about myself than they already have.

Can car payments that you are behind on qualify?

I have been reading everything on here about this company. I am afraid to stop sending them payments. I don't want to go to jail. I have 2 small children to take care of and I'm honestly trying to repay my debt. I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appericated.
