I have recently set up a payment plan for deliquent city taxes,however I still have been summonsed to appear in small claims court.Can a judgement be filed against me even though I have set up a payment plan for the deliquent taxes?

I have been getting calls from a regional arbitration services saying I owe on a payday loan from 2003. I called advance america and they said it was sold to MLA Holdings and gave me their number. I called them, but I only got a recording. The debt was for 167.00 arbitration wants 577.00. Regional arbitration services couldn't tell me when the debt was made. Just that it went delinquent in dec. Of 2007. Is this a scam or should I deal with these people? Help!

Help, drowning in payday loans. What can I do???

I foreclosed on a home last year. The outstanding debt after foreclosure is $30,000 and they have offered a settlement of $5900.00 With $20,000 on two credit cards ($7,000 and $13,000), I'm unable to get an increase in credit line, unable to get home equity line of credit, and unable to get any other credit card/loan to take advantage of the settlement offer. What do you suggest?/

I live in Pennsylvania, four months ago I took out 4 payday loans, against better judgment.....work has been really bad it slow off to the point were I have been picking and choosing which bills to pay. I unfornately have not been able to pay my payday loans. I past 2 weeks I have received phone calls with threats of arrest, check fraud......because every time they would take funds out of my checking account they would come back insufficent funds. yesterday I spoke to a person yesterday, with heavy accent telling me that they were taking me to court and I would be served my local police

I have several payday loans, one is so outrageous you would not believe what I will end up paying once it is paid off! I am so stressed out and I do not know what to do. i filed for bankruptcy on may 24th of this year, and the check i received june 5 is the third i have received since my filing date, and i am still being garnished. i believe it is cach llc garnishing me. i have told my lawyer every check i have gotten that has been garnished since filing. i also took a copy of the letter i get from walmart wage attachment every month. and still my money is being taken
