I Had a capital one visa $800.00 that whent into collections, We agreed and i paid $300.00 ish I would like to say over a year ago. the following is from my credit report.. Status: Paid in settlement/Account charged off.

I wondered what the best way to go would be to consolidate debt, yet avoid paying the service a large fee; are there any that do this for minimal or no fee?
