Hello, I filed for chp13 bankruptcy in CA, in January 2011. I was told when I was consulted that "students loans cannot be wiped out in bankruptcy", I said "ok". I filed, it was approved by the court, I pay the trustee every month, yadda yadda.

This guy Ronnie from Solomon Financial keeps calling me at work and harrassing me. I dont remember taking out a loan with them. its even on me Credit report. HELP!

i never agreed to any terms of any loan i was just looking for one. next thing ya know they deposit 300 bucks in my acct. and now they're taking 90 bucks out at a time. this is very shady activity that they are messing with my acct. without my concent

I received a phone call at my office. Caller ID said "Sheriffs Office." They asked for HR and said they needed to serve papers for an employee on a Criminal Case. I was that employee and when I asked for more info, they couldn't tell me. They asked me what showed on caller ID?! This case was a payday loan and I sent the collection agency a certified letter requesting proof that I owed it. I never heard back from them. WHAT NOW? Can they use the sheriffs number? I am scared to death!!!

I have several payday loans and have closed out my checking account. I live in RI and am trying to figure out if they are licensed or legal in my state. I have tried talking to these companies and have told them I am willing to make small payments but they want a prepaid debit card which I don't have and don't intend to get. Some of them even state I cannot make payments through the mail and that it will go into further default unless I can pay in full through a credit or debit card. I don't have the funds to pay them all off at once, plus they want additional fees! UGH!

if i sign up for debt consolidation will i have to pay the company a fee? if , yes will it be included in the monthly fee?

I have a Lease Contract Guaranty the collection agency sent me with my information on it, however it is not signed by me. Can I dispute that I owe the money for my daughter breaking her lease if my signature is not on the document?
