My wife paid several of this bills off about eight years ago and presumed they were paid off. When they wanted more money she did not have any proof of payment. Later on when she paid off accounts she wrote "paid in full" on the checks and that has helped later accounts and payment. But WFNNB is still trying to collect on these older bills that are way past the SL. So we refust to talk to them or pay more. But they can be a bother when they call many times a day. My question is - What can they gain from all these calls. Is it that easy to bother someone?

Hello everybody, Please help. Is that possible to have the court dismiss the cc debt case, when the cardholder agreement and the few pages of activity reports sent to me did not have the same card umber or account number. The report does have the account number but the card holder had no card number or account number.

I received a notice and it says it's regarding first financial investment fund I, llc vs. county of Los Angeles superior court. Does that mean they sued me already? Can instill make pmt arrangement? Do I have to go L.A.?

My mom used my account to get a payday loan from CashNetUsa. Fine, whatever that's another story. Payments have been coming out left and right with no warning so I log onto her account with them only to find that since she was overdue on her payments that they have sold her loan to a third party company. Not sure when this occurred but they took out a payment yesterday of over a hundred dollars that I don't have to give. Is that ok? Can they still take out payments if they no longer own the loan? Is there a way to stop them from taking money out of my account?

Can anyone please tell me if ACE loan is legal in california? i got this phone call at work today and this guy name "Officer Frank Robertson" was telling me that he is calling regarding my loan which i only borrowed $200 and now he said that i owe them 8000+ it is ridiculous that i they want me to pay and make settlement..i was thinking why would i pay something that i didn't borrow or have?

So when i got home i called the #, and ask who is this, they said this is a law office and you are getting arrested tomorrow at your work and you will lose your job. I said i don't understand. She said well! you defauted your loan and now the police will be at your job tomorrow. I said what loan i don' know what you mean. She said you didn't read the contract? I said no, i don' t remeber a loan. and i still don't know what the H--- you mean.
