I live in New york state. How can I get 2 garnishments in 2010 from bills in the 1990s if it is illegal (another post) ? I am on Social Security Disability and they put 2 garnishments against me in Court. One I didn't know about because they "duck-taped" it to my prior address 0on the back door (even though they were sending threatning letters to my address here !!!) Now I am getting more for the same bills !!!!! I don't know what to do !!

I sent a company (st armonds) a ACH revocation they did not honor it. My account was closed so they didn't get any money out of me but do I have legal recourse.

I fell into the payday loan trap and now I could use a little help getting out of it. I live in New York and have three outstanding internet payday/ installment loans. I get paid on a monthly basis and needed the money to catch up on some of my bills. I want to pay them off but I will need a little more time in paying them.

I took a loan through cash call a year and half ago.we called to get a payoff amount we were shocked about the amount due but we were gonna do it with our taxes.we filed oir taxes got our money then called them to pay if off.the amount went up by almost 1000 dollars.then it was not possible for us to pay.they wouldnt even settle with that amount.between the intrest paid and amount we were gonna give it was almost 3 times the loan.we are reading up on what we can do or what other people went through.when we took the loan we lived in california and now we live in nevada.can that work for us?we d

So, I have had a few loans with mycashnow. I have hit some financial hurdles and am now having a hard time paying on my loan with them. The loan is for $900, but I overpaid my prior 2 loans by $700. After reading these forums, should I just pay them back the $200 defecit since I already overpaid? I live in Indiana. Thanks

I already sent my ACH Revoke letters, contacted my authorities, etc. I have received PIF on some of my loans along with some refunds. I am however having problems with a few. 3 of them are One Click Cash, United Cash loans, and 500 Fast Cash. As you know these are owned by the same company. I recently found out that the state of PA has a cease and desist with United Cash Loans. If the C&D is for United Cash Loans would that include One Click Cash and 5oo Fast Cash or would they have to have a separate C&D for each one?

So far so good with getting rid of the payday loans. Have not had much contact from most of them. With a couple of exceptions. Cash Call is insisting that they are a legal lender in the state of Washington and that I still owe them 2800.00 on a 2600.00 loan which I have paid 2400.00 on. I have sent them a money order for the balance will see what hapens. Zip 19 has started calling my office manager and faxing her papers asking about my employment status. She has refused their phone calls and shreds the faxes. Is there any way she can get in trouble for sticking up for me?
