I live in Washington State, am I to understand that because Western Sky offered me the loan, before they sold it to Cash Call, that I'm not liable for the full amount, just the original loan amount, since Western Sky is not licensed to operate in my state? Thank you, Kevin

Hello, Virginia Resident trying to send out my letters to the PDL's that I have allowed to run my life for too long but now I cannot find the site for Cash Yes Direct. Anyone have any ideas so that I can get this letter out?

How feasible is it to have a negative entry from a collection agency removed if offered payment in full?

I Live in Massachusetts and through this site found out payday loans are illegal in my state. I have three of them out. Payday MAX $350.00 paid $240.00 National Credit Line $300.00 Paid zero 0 Mobile Loans $300 paid $120.00 I ave already emailed PDM and National Credit line revocation and cease and desit letters and thats why National Credit line has not received any money yet. I have not done anything with mobile Loans as I am not sure if they are licensed or not but likely still illegal here in MA because of our payday loan laws.

My huisband got a garnishment from a bill he owed before we married. They are taking everything out of account every 30 days. I have a child to support and 3/4 of that money money I earn to pay bills and support our child. Is it legal for me to just not put my checks into the account and only leave them with like 75.00 dollars? So that way we can continue to be able to pay our bills and feed our child?

Please help! Like so many others, I’ve gotten trapped in payday loan hell. Last week I got to the point where my check went to finance fees and then I ended up getting two more loans, so I could pay the rest of my bills. This has to stop; I can’t go on like this anymore. I’m stressing to the point where I feel sick. I’ve been reading through many posts on this board and I feel somewhat better knowing I’m not alone. I had planned on closing my checking account tomorrow in hopes of joining a payday consolidation company called Payday Freedom.

So i sent a couple emails to American Web Loan requesting a refund and finally got this response. I don't have an outstaning loan with them, but figured I got nothing to lose by requesting refunds. Should I even bother? Has anyone had success with them? I have reviewed your loans with us, and each were fulfilled per the terms that you agreed to. Since you contacted us and requested our service, then showed your satisfaction with us by requesting multiple loans, we do not see any error or misconduct on our part.

I recently took out an internet PDL and I reside in the state of GA. What are the rules and regulations for payment. I have closed the account that was being debited. Please advise.

My husband called to follow-up on his private loan and was told that it went to collections (dcs). They stated they tried contacting him and the co-signer of the loan, which at the time both of them had moved. No mail was forwarded or any notification via phone was done. Now his loans are here at this company dcs. I am reading all the bad stories about this company and we just want to make a good faith effort in paying. We are hard working middle income people. Any advise would be helpful on how to deal with this.
