Can a collection attorney office call my job and ask to speak to my supervisor

I have question over some payday loans that are in collection. I have like 8 or 9 payday loans that are in default two of which are Cashnet, and Paydayone. I get threatening calls saying that they are going to serve me. One that recently said they cant verify the address to serve because its not residential. Pay Day one said they are using legal action trying to say it was a fraud check, because I didn't have the money for the ACH. I know that is BS and they just want to take it to court to get the $. What can they actually do if this goes to court? Can I go to jail over a debt or this?

My husband took out 3 pay day loans... QC HOLDINGS 200 Cashland 800 and another I'm not sure what company. We are located in ohio. We have been in this cycle since appx. July of last year, and we are starting to really lose our butts here. We make good money, but these loans are killing us when we lose almost 600 a month. We got on an EPP but had to take it back out just to pay the bills one month from being behind on the other ones. We have never defaulted, my question is, how can I get out of this? We have no family for help, or to borrow money from.

Same story as a lot of poster here.... Borrowed $1500 from Western Sky, they took $500 off the top, sold it to Cash Call. I live in AZ I have paid $2300+ with 8 months remaining. $166.94 each month since Jan of 2011. I filed a complaint with the FTC, AZ attorney general. Cash Call did respond to the letter from the FTC, with the usual legal mumbo jumbo, tribal lender, etc. But offered to reduce my interest to 35% or settle for a lump sum of $550.00.

Received a call today (05/16/2012 at 10:09 am CST) from a very rude man that goes by the name Victor Rameriz. Stated that he was a manager calling from CAB Asset Management in Maryland. He stated he was calling on behalf of his client PDL only after I insisted he tell me his clients name. He ask several questions. One being the last four digits of my ss#. He stated that it was $1,010.00 and he would give me a discount, what could I pay today? We went back and forth but he did not want me to say anything.

hello, i got a phone call yestuday at home and again today claim i was going to be served on May 17, so i contacted the AG office in my state and told her about it. when the person called my home she left a message on the answering machine and i got the number and googled it but nothing came up so then i called the number and some woman that answered it refused to tell me the name of the company i was calling. but she seem to have had all info on me.

I just recieved a call from a Nicole saying she would be at my house this evening and I should have a ID, and a witness, if i wanted to avoid this I should call a number which she gave me to call to stop this. I called them and found out it was International , Asset Group. They would give me no information without a file number, I have never recieved anything from them, should I worry? What should I do?

I filed chapt 7 and had 2 payday loans included and were discharged. They are now contacting me threatening me with bank fraud and jail. Do I have to repay these loans?
