I have a medical bill being garnished from my pay checks. When I first got the notice of owing this bill I tried calling to make payment arangements. The only arrangement they would except was so much that I wouldn't be able to pay my monthly bills, but they wouldn't budge on how much they wanted me to pay. Soon after I recieved notice of the garnishments of my wages. Again I tried contacting the bill collector and again asked about payment arrangements and they told me that during the 60 days that the order of garnishment was in affect they couldn't make any kind of arrangements.

I owe 5 grand to a debt collector and I feel I can consolidate them down to about 1900-2500 dollars and resolve the situation with cash and hand. ;)

I am a CA resident and I too was fooled by "Advance Me Today" or Lenders International. My original loan was $500. I have paid a total of $650. I would have been ok with that had they not turned around and asked me for an additional $850. So far, I have filed a compliant with the FTC and BBB. I will also contct the PDL with a letter. Burlington County Courts put in a judgement by palisades. I have not recieved a letter or anything stating that i need to appear in court. I do no that the suppose to send a certified letter and reg mail letter. neither one. still do not know what it is about. I do i get this off my CR?

I am in Ohio and I have 3 pay day loans . Two are bi weekly and 1 is monthly . National Cash Advance -558.34 Cashland -546.18 Express 704.00....The Express loan is on the Insight card but I do not have direct deposit set up through the card . I pay back on the 3rd and reborrow the same amount . I talked with someone who said I need to close my checking account and open a new one at a different bank but I have a loan through my credit union that I have to have a checking account for so closing my account is not an option .Plus I have direct deposit at my credit union .

is there a way to block a caller or report them

I just opened an account with PNC Bank without any problems and I am still in the chexsystems at least for another 2 years when they will fall off. Free checks came as a part of the checking account promotion that they had so I let them order checks. I just got my checks today and noticed that they are through Harland. Is Harland one of the affiliates of chexsystems like deluxe. I have only had this account for 2 weeks and now I'm afraid I'm going to get a letter stating that they are closing my account because I am in the chexsystems.

I'm thinking about using progressives debt relief. i have 8 internet loans. can anyone tell me if its easier to do it my self or go with progressive.
