Hi,
I was wondering if I still continue making my monthly car payments with my current lender if I have been approved for 722 redemption by us bank? They have sent paperwork to my attorney just can't get a hold of her.
I recently found out that someone is trying to use my account for fraud, I contacted my bank and they told me that on the 4th of april northway financial ltd tried to charge my account the sum arround ??120 , so I think that someone tried or did take out a loan with you on my name or my bank account. I would like to talk with someone from your team who deals with cases like this. How do I do that? thanks you.
Today I received a letter from a law firm that told me that Portfolio Recovery LLC is suing me and that I have 10 days to respond in writing to this lawsuit. He says there is a good chance I can have this lawsuit dismissed forever - so I can never be sued on this debt again. He then says I should call him for a free consultation so I can find out my legal rights - before I go to court.
He said he discovered my case in the new court cases of the county I live in and says his fees for representation are much less than the amount I am being sued for.
I just received an very threating call from this supposedly legal firm, stating I own 1253.49 to CNG Enterprises and because I didn't reply to the letter that was sent to an address that I hadn't lived at in over 5 yrs. Compliance Officer Anthony Battelli stated, I would be convicted of a Class 1 Felony and that I had until 3pm EST to make the payment or the papers would be filed in court.
I lost my job back in 2008 and like many other people, my job situation has been horrendous. I've been substitute teaching ever since earning extremely meager wages. Education was not a field left unscathed because of the economy. Due to my job loss, I had two credit card accounts with low balances close. One was Capital One and the other was a gas card that really doesn't even bother with me because it was a very low amount.
How can you tell if a lender is authorized to do business in your state. Also, how do you handle a lender that is authorized in your state, but has threatened you (and called your employer) with arrest for a "bad check?"
:(my lawyer filed bankrupcy chapter 7 and about 3 weeks later he told me he couldn't file chapter 7 only chapter 13 because of the dirvorce settlement. What will happend? he is not telling me how to go on and what is possible to do
