So I borrowed back in 2009-I live in Michigan. I am having a hard time seeing if they legal in Michigan-I know they arent really a payday loan. They are showing on my credit report for $1700. Are they legal in Michigan? Any luck on settling with them? Thanks!

They Say Legal Action Pending! What Should I Do?

13 years 3 months ago
A few months ago, I took out a payday loan in the amount of $450.00 with a company called Online Advance. (Their website is www.onlineadvance.com). Shortly after getting the PD loan with them, I read online that this company is not even licensed to lend to consumers in my state (Maine).

now what?!

Ok, I know that I have posted a lot today, but a lot keeps happening today! So again, I got a phone call at work while I was not there, asking for me because they had a summons over the phone. My coworker called back saying I don't work here anymore. Anyway they were trying to get her to say that I was a scam artist. So I called back the number when I got to work, and they said it was for a check n go loan. I did have a loan with check n go that I defaulted on.

So I know there have been many posts regarding these bottom feeding morons, but I need some more advice and help. So I get a call from my co manager at work, and someone called without revealing themselves but asked for me. My General Manager and my co manager knows what's going on and she said "I'm sorry, Lisa doesn't work here anymore." Anyway. this man, (I'm assuming its probably that ass Mr. Hatton) called her a liar, and asked if there was another manager that he could speak with. She said no, I'm the manager, and I'm giving you the right information, He then hung up on her.

Owner of account?

13 years 3 months ago
To make a long story short - I had a Capital One credit card in 2010. Lost job and didn't make payments. The outstanding balance at July 2010 was $1369. According to the law firm (debt collector) that I'm dealing with, balance is now $1646 which includes interest and fees. The DC stated that they are simply representing the company and they do not own the debt. I called Capital One and they verified the information. Yet I've been reading on the forums that once a "Charge off" has been noted on your credit, the account no longer belongs to the original creditor.

Please Need Help - Being harassed about a Paid Loan

13 years 3 months ago
Hi I have a situation that I need some guidance one. Sorry, this is so long! In 2008 I took out some online loan from Money and More out of California. I took out 4 loans and all of them I paid back on the assigned due date. In June 2010 I received a call from a collection agency saying that on one of the days I didn’t pay back the loan. I went to my old back, got bank statements to prove that I did in fact pay it back. Fax the information over to the CA.

Flashloans email address

13 years 3 months ago
Does anyone have a correct email address for Flashloans.com? Their website states it is no longer in use. I have emailed mailtran[at]flashloans.com, operations[at]flashloans.com and info[at]flashloans.com. Mailtran[at]flashloans.com comes back as non existing and the other two go through fine but I have not had any feedback as of yet. I am trying to recoup $2475.00 in over-payments (I know, good luck--right?). Any help on the email addresses will be greatly appreciated.

Flobridge knows the Jig is up?

13 years 3 months ago
So I got an email from the customer support team of Flobridge saying that they are going to offer me a one time settlement. The loan I took out was $400, and I have paid back more than half, and I only owe about $161. So they tell me they are going to settle with me for $400, and forgive the $380 in interest and $95.00 in fees. So I should respond with I'm only paying the $161 right? I mean I'm thinking that they are only offering me this settlement because they can't get anywhere with me and my company with the wage assignment paperwork.
