I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

How about that? I did it right this time.
I too received one of those letters that looked like scam all over it.
After going on the internet to check it out, I found that I was not alone and many people were targeted victims and am I happy that I had the fore-thought to check it out before responding.
Thanks people-I am an avid lover of the internet but it is a shame that it is getting abused by people like " Nuveau Tech. Society.

How dare they say it is my calling from god!!

Thank you all for having this message board, the firdt thing I did was come online to see who else was so "spiritually gifted" that they were given private invitation to this secret society? WHO THE HECK ARE THESE PEOPLE "PROFILING" US?? They can remain a secret to me, I want no part of this SCAM!!! Hiw should we handle this, besides the shredder? This must be stopped. Any ideas?? :?:

Oh, wow, I wasn't asked for money, I guess that comes after you send the first letter back for the FREE booklet. If we have so much insight, why would we need to send for their books? We may be as wise as they say we are for NOT responding!

I recieved the letter ofering a free 56 page booklet
on the secrets of life I guess. How stupid do they think people are? I'm curious about if a 56 page booklet of secrets even exist.Someone else wrote they think they are targeting older people, I'm 28 years old so it's not that. If I mail back the invitation I hope I dont live to regret it.

I recieved my letter and an offer for a 56 page book on secrets. What kind of secrets are they ? Secrets to life (yeah right). Mabey the secret of how they get your name, address and all other bullcrap about them. I was going to mail the invitation back
out of curiousity but after reading everyone version of their story and saying they ask for $$$ in the second letter I'm not waisting my money on a stamp for them. Hopefully nobody is foolish enough or desperate enough to fall for their scam.

I also just got this weird letter and I couldn't believe what I was reading. I am a Christian and I
know that real prosperity comes from God's prosperity
plan and not from remorizing something they could send me in the mail. They did say it would be free though, but I just thought it was a demonic group of people. I'm glad I decided to check on line though and I found this group and I read all that they had to
say. Thanks

Ha, ha, well..... not ha ha, I AM special but THEY don't know it!! :) I'm wondering why if they knew we are such smart, special people that they didn't know we would check them out before handing over our hard-earned money?! What a bunch of putzes! Glad you all checked it out first too.

I too just received my "special letter". My wife and I were in tears as I read it. It is so rediculously stupid, we couldn't stop laughing as we read the whole thing. The only thing that sobered us was the thought that there probably are many out there who will swallow this and fall into the scam. We checked them out on the Better Business Bureau web-site and found that their membership in the BBB has been revoked as of Feb of this year due to their failure to address the numerous complaints against them. So, I shall wipe this smile off my face for a moment to announce..... "Beware All!!!!!"
Sincerely,
(Still smiling in the Rockies.)

Thank you all for posting your comments. The Internet definitely has its perks. I read this eerie letter envisioning the devil reeling a * fish* in. So it's very interesting to me that someone went further into the process than reading the first letter, only to find that this ???society??? says there is no god. Hmmm???. Maybe my vision wasn't too far off. Anytime something offers money, power, making people fall in love with them, or spooky tricks, it may be enticing but not at the price of your soul. Thanks again and buyer beware!

I look at it this way.I like learning and experiencing new things.I've paid to be scam before just to feel it,to know and understand it.Now it can't hurt. But I also give me the power to find things out for myself, which out judging things before knowing things.I met a lot of good people who turned out to be bad.And alot of bad people who turn out to be good.so by being open minded and not judging i can see the good the bad and ugly and pretty more clearly and easy.Anyway....I got the letter and i'm going to find out for myself what up. PS I thought if something was to good to be true AND WAS TRUE!WOULD YOU MISS OUT OR FINDS OUT?

I rceived the letter on may 17, 2006 I went on line immediately to find out what type of place this was, I read some interesting things but as I continued on I found that many sought it to be a scam. As I further investigated the site.I found information stating that they did not believe in God. Well, I am very inqusitive but I am not interested in selling my soul today. Beware!

I got my letter yesterday (May 17, 2006) and also wondered, "What kind of crap is this?" I did, however, fax the form just so I could see what they were talking about. Until it costs me, I'll play along. The minute they ask me for my credit card number, forget about it; I'm done.

The things that are written in this letter are definitely not of God, and for me it makes them evil and sick to use God given powers for evil. I use the word evil because gambling and making people fall in love or back in love with you is not GOD.everyone has gifts and how we use them are completely a choice as everything in life. Know that anything that you have to make come to you will never last. This is why most people who are rich don't know what to do with it and eventuually loose it. God Bless you all for not giving in to this SCAM!!!!!!!

Received the letter today and judging by reaction on this website there are many other special people with "rare traits" out there. I nearly lost consciousness reading the letter it was so boring but definitely the underlying tone of the letter is creepy and should be stopped. Nice work on the forum guys it is easy to access and informative.

I got the letter last night and decided to check it out online. I'm glad i did. I believe in God - 200%. I have "rare traits" straight from the Lord himself. I don't need no secret society to tell me that. Recently, great things have happened to me that would fit the "cycle two" criteria - i am glad i know where my blessings/success come from. Thanks for sharing your experiences.God bless you all.

I received this same letter on yesterday May 18, 2006 asking me to mail or fax my free invitation form because the society discovered I had special and rare traits. It's all a bunch of bull. They don't ask for money now but just you wait!

Just imagine: If they get replies to the "stage 2" book offer from;
- 100 folks - they get $13,900.00
- 1,000 folks - they get $139,000.00
- 10,000 folks - they get $1,390,000.00
Not bad for a 100,000 piece mass mailing (first class - ha ha!!), that would probably cost them $500.00 - $5,000.00 depending on where they got their list and how (what software/list company) they mailed.

All of our help comes from the true and living God. Satan has deceptive spirits roaming throughout this land to capture our minds to keep or put us in bondage to him by any way that he thinks that will attract our desires or passions. We must be aware of the tricks that he (satan) will use to manipulate our minds to get us off track and will for sure lead to a dead end. Depend on God of heaven and earth to obtaint the things, love, desires, and needs of our lives. God said in his word Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". We must stop depending on a quick fix or a letter from an unkown sect that happened to find our names and addresses from a mailing list or web link. I pray to God that all of those reading this realize that by receiving that letter it should help you understand that God has a way of getting his message out even if he (God) allows deceptive motives to come your way so that he (God) can show himself and prove himself as the only true and living God. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose". I thank God that I received that letter that God may reach those that read this message board and call out on the name of the Lord for all things, especially salvation of the soul, healing of the body, peace for your mind, joy for your heart, unity in relationships including family, friends and God ordained marriges."Trust the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not unto your own understanding".(Proverbs 3:5)

I knew that this was a bunch of bullshit. Cuz in the letter he said that his lawyer wouldn't let him release his name, but on the next page, he told us that his name was kevin! Then at the end he sing off as john finn! Who the f**k in their right frame of mind going to belive that ..

I too got the letter and found it interesting yet also with supernatural hidden messages (drawing others to admire you and such). but like any wise person I went straight to the internet and found this site and I am not surprised that even though the 56 page book is free, at some point there will be money involved. In conclusion I beleive that having a spiritual life and practicing meditation (it really works)can attain the same results the nt society promises

I didn't know what the heck this letter was that was sent to me..it just seemed to good to be true and I knew something was up and that's why I decided to come online and find out about this little scam (that I now know). I was so skeptic with all they had to say and knew that nobody could of known anything about me..when it said that I been feeling a calling of some special sort..I was like what? What calling? haha Well, now I can spread the word if this is a scam.
