Old Citibank Credit Card Balance ... need advice

Citibank credit card with balance of $15,000+ was charged off on 8/12/10. Went to a collection agency, who was happy with $25 monthly payments thru March of 2016 then quit deducting them from my bank account. In June 2016 I was contacted by another collection agency regarding this debt. I sent a DV letter within 30 days to the new collection agency. They responded saying the DV request had been sent to Citibank and they were no longer attempting to collect the debt. I just received from Citibank themselves copies of all the statements on the account and a letter this week (60 days later) in response to the DV letter. Neither collection agency has ever shown up on my credit report ... just the original debt with Citibank. However, even with it charged off, the credit reports are still showing the $25 payments each month thru March 2016 and say that it is still over the credit limit (from all the interest and late fees they kept adding on) and reflecting a giant past due monthly payment. Is that normal? When will this debt fall off my credit report? The letter has a Citibank phone number asking me to call them to explore payment options. So ... is this typical for a bank to take a chargeoff account back to collect on it 6 years later?

What was the date of your first deliquency? What state do you live in? You are six years into the deliquency and may well be out of SOL already. Citi will fall off at the 7 year mark.

first delinquency was 2/10/10 in Michigan. charged off 8/12/10. last $25 payment applied to this account was on 3/23/16, which messes up the SOL idea, I believe
